ALEXANDER SWART PROPERTY WORKSHOPS TO RUN THROUGHOUT 2019

T

he free property buyers and property investors’ workshops organised by the Alexander Swart Property group in the final months of 2018 were so well attended and so gratefully received that plans have now been finalised to continue this free service to the public throughout the coming year, with at least two workshops per month. The first workshop this year, which is aimed at property buyers, particularly those buying for the first time, will take place on 30th January at 7 p.m. and the next property investors’ workshop will be held on 6th February, again at 7 p.m. In both cases the venue will be the Alexander Swart Property offices in John Gainsford Street in Brackenfell. “When we launched these workshops,” says Rowan Alexander, Director of Alexander Swart Property, “we were backing a hunch that many middle class South Africans have a strong desire to understand property better and to benefit from it. The four initial workshops at the end of last year showed conclusively that this is very much the case – and the good news is that some of those who attended have already acted on our advice and are moving into property investment along the lines that we suggested. This will be good for them and good for South Africa.”

Equally good news, says Alexander, is that two big companies have invited him to give these free workshops at their premises. This liaison with major employers, he says, will from now on be an important part of the Alexander Swart educational effort.

He has also arranged for internet providers to discuss the growing role of this type of marketing in property. Details of these talks will be published in the local press.
