The fastest way that I’m aware of to quit your job and start to live a life of more freedom is to learn how to promote other people’s products/services online. You find a product/service that you know is high quality, tell people who would be interested in buying it about it, and when they purchase it, you get a percentage of the money.

You don’t need your own product, no staff or postage fees.. none of the traditional overheads of starting an offline business. You can make money from anywhere you want to be in the world with an internet connection, working the hours that suit you. Making money through promoting other people’s products and services is called Affiliate Marketing

This way of earning money is potentially a very powerful way of generating a passive income.. meaning that once you’ve done the initial work of setting one Affiliate Scheme up, the business can be working for you, generating money through sales commissions for you while you sleep. Because this business model no longer involves you trading your time for money, there are possibilities for you not just to have a passive income, but to have more than one product/service that you promote and possibly more than one company that you are an Affiliate for. Repeating the Affiliate business idea allows you not just to have passive income.. but to have multiple income streams

What products are you knowledgable and passionate about? Start to imagine having financial freedom based upon what you already know and are passionate about. That could be anything from video games to self development, sport to origami. Most people have been used to thinking in terms of generating a single income. How we’re taught to earn money is very often based upon how many hours you work and how much you get paid per hour I find it liberating to feel the shift away from the idea of solely having to earn an income from the offline money generating business model that so many of us were told about when we were growing up..

Your role in Affiliate Marketing As an affiliate, your job is to tell people about the product/service you’re promoting. The company you are the affiliate for issues you with your own unique URL which is your way of being identified as a seller to that company For example, if your name is John Smith and you’re promoting an information product for a self development company that’s called ‘SuperYou’… then a possible Affiliate URL that you’d have could be www.SuperYou.com/JohnSmith This unique URL is contained within the links and banner adverts that potential customers will click on. In my experience, the company that you’re an Affiliate for will generally supply you with all these. From these, the company can track exactly where the customer has come to their website sales page from and this is how the company know how many customers you have sent their way. There are several extremely important aspects regarding your choice of affiliate schemes that will greatly impact your financial success.. I advise that you choose a product/service that you use.. or would use if you had the need for it. Something that you know gives a high quality and good value solution. It will be more enjoyable for you as the area you’ll be working in means more to you personally and it’s good ‘ethical marketing practise’ to promote something you know can effectively solve a problem/fill a need. It ‘literally’ pays to bear in mind that there are a lot of different priced items that you can promote, the more expensive ones are referred to as ‘high ticket’ sales. There are varying percentages of commission that companies payout… so, it’s the price that the item you’re referring costs, along with the percentage total that you get paid from that item sale, that will give you the amount of your total commission for a sale of that item. Some companies that sell multiple products and services may have different commission rates that you get paid for each item. Finally, such an important aspect that so many Affiliates miss or underuse is the promotion and marketing of your Affiliate offer, through an add or website. Setting up a website with offers on and expecting people to come and find it, is simply not the most effective way to utilise the business model and create financial freedom for yourself. When I first started my journey in Internet Marketing, I invested in several Affiliate Marketing related courses but they lacked some very important things A step by step system of how to set up an Affiliate Scheme. I was studying on my own and had no support, no community of like minded people I could ask advice from, and be inspired by. I had no structure to implement all the information I had bought, and consequently I studied everything all at once, leading to me becoming overloaded by all the information and I gradually stopped looking into Affiliate sales system because I suffered from ‘information overload’.

Also, I learned that if you don’t have a mentor, you are missing out on being able to have access to specific advice, personal to your situation.There’s obviously a huge advantage in being mentored and guided by someone who has already successfully achieved the financial and consequent time freedom and lifestyle choices that can change our lives..
