After a year hiatus, the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Fish Fry returned for its 46th year to the shaded grounds of the church in the Grassland area of Franklin. According to event chairman Mike Loring, over 3,000 people came out for the all-you-can-eat catfish, bluegrass music and free kids’ area. The event benefits the missions of the church including Kathy’s Backpacks which will soon prepare almost 450 Williamson County backpacks filled with school supplies for area elementary, middle and high school students needing assistance.
