Fiz is a young bat, a little flying fox. He lives in the rainforest up in the treetops.
When it is dark, Fiz flies all night. But he comes home to sleep before the light is bright.
‘I want to fly faster! I want to fly further! I want to fly high and fly free.’
‘Oh no, little Fiz’, his father replies. ‘I know where the tastiest blossoms will be. You’d best stay with me.’ So they soar through the trees, flying up through the leaves.
All night long, on wild flowers they feed. ‘Hear the Kooka’s laugh, Fiz? Stay close to me. It’s time to go home to sleep.’

But can you see his father, watching through the leaves?
Can you see him there, flying through the trees?
