It was reported in Who Magazine that in June 2004 just after her high school graduation, Mary Kate Olsen was committed to a treatment centre. Increasingly thin and clearly unhealthy, Mary Kate appears to share a common problem for young people – an eating disorder. 'They finally reached the point where they had to act. They didn't want to find her dead on the floor from not eating.'
