With 500 acres of beautiful landscape, unique historical features, five indoor galleries, a permanent display of outdoor sculpture, and a changing programme of special exhibitions, YSP makes an ideal location for group visits. Group visitors can also enjoy the YSP Centre with contemporary award-winning gift shop stocking stationery, homeware, jewellery and more, and restaurant with breathtaking views of the Country Park. And with the YSP Café, coffee shops and kiosk open throughout the Park, you’ll never be too far away from refreshment.

SUGGESTED ITINERARIES Spend up to three hours exploring on your own or maximise your time with a suggested route:

– Free coach parking (when booked with with a catering or tour package. Normal charge £15) – Map and current information on arrival – Free refreshment voucher for the coach driver – Free introductory talk in the Underground Gallery (during exhibitions only) – Specialist tour packages (fees apply) – Option to pre-book mobility scooters, subject to availability. Bespoke group visits, stays and events

1 hour: visit the Formal Garden and galleries. 2 hours: enjoy a tour of the Underground Gallery or take a guided walk, before returning to the restaurant for coffee and cake. 3 hours: buy a Guide to Works in the Open Air and explore the Park independently. Meander through the Henry Moore bronzes in the Country Park and follow the walking route to Longside Gallery, returning by the shuttle bus for lunch in the restaurant.


GROUP TALKS, TOURS & EVENTS Fascinating talks and guided tours for all ages, abilities and interests:

Art & Landscape Tour £80 per tour (max. 30 per tour. Two guides available for groups of 30+)

Underground Gallery Talk Recommended donation £20 per tour (no minimum, during exhibitions only)

With the help of our experienced guides, explore the range of outdoor sculpture on display including works by Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore as well as the Park’s historical features. This tour can be dementia-friendly and tailor made for the blind and visually impaired on request. Approximately one hour.

This free introductory talk is the perfect start to your visit. Gain an insight into the latest exhibition in the stunning, award-winning Underground Gallery, located just a minute’s walk from YSP Centre. Winter Visits and Seasonal Nights Popular winter events like Sunrise in the Skyspace and Brass Christmas can be part of your itinerary and include breakfast and dinner packages with local hotels offering special rates when planning a visit to YSP. Other events available all year round. Curatorial Talk £350 per talk (max 80 per talk) This talk is accompanied by a presentation helping you gain inside knowledge of past, current and future artists. Our current and upcoming exhibitions, and the sculptures within the open air.

Why not add an exclusive tour of Roger Hiorns, Seizure, 2008/2013 to your Art & Landscape tour. £30 (must be pre-booked, excludes weekends and bank holidays). Curatorial Tours £200 per tour (max. 30 per tour. Two guides available for groups of 30+) These specialist tours are led by YSP curators and provide a more detailed insight into the collection and programme. There are a variety of tours and talks available and these can be tailored to suit your specific group interest. Excludes weekends. Approximately one hour. All tours are subject to availability. Suitable footwear and clothing are recommended for all outdoor tours. Please note that prices are based on tours taking place during normal opening hours and must be booked and paid for in advance.

DIRECTIONS YSP is perfectly located for easy access: situated one mile from M1 J38, with Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester no more than an hour away. Exit the M1 at J38, take the A637 towards Huddersfield, and follow the Yorkshire Sculpture Park brown heritage signs for one mile until you reach a roundabout. At this roundabout, turn left and follow the road through to YSP Centre.
