WHISPERING WOODS: THE MOON PRINCESS (OPEN-AIR THEATRE) 16+17.09.16 / 18.00–19.30 & 20.00–21.30 Adults £10, children £5, family £28, under 5s free Journey into the lakes and woodlands with Whispering Woods as they present a creative re-telling of the traditional Japanese tale Moon Princess among the ancient trees at YSP. This immersive, intoxicating experience combines aerial acrobatics, live music and fireside storytelling to create a truly memorable experience for all ages.
NIGHT IN THE MUSEUM: GAZING, MOVING, DRAWING – ADULT LIFE DRAWING 17.08.16 / 18.30–20.30 / £10, concessions £8 (suitable for age 16+) / Booking essential This playful and interactive workshop accompanies the Arts Council Collection touring exhibition, Night in the Museum: Ryan Gander Curates the Arts Council Collection. It offers the opportunity to have a go at life drawing through creative approaches.

STONE CARVING WITH MARCIA BENNETT-MALE 07–11.09.16 (five-day course) / 10.00–16.00 daily / £285, concessions £255 Bringing together first time carvers with experienced artists to provide an opportunity to experiment with stone. This course places a heavy emphasis on working with hand tools from start to finish. MONOPRINT AND STENCIL WORKSHOP WITH CHARLES SHEARER 24.09.16 / 10.00–16.00 / £80, concessions £75 Develop ideas through direct and simple printing processes in this one-day workshop, accompanying Editions and Objects.

Hear how Owl Project have been working with synthesiser enthusiasts and a local group of spinners and weavers to generate layers of electronic sounds and beats. OWL PROJECT: ILOG WORKSHOP 16.07.16 / 11.00–16.30 / £50 Work with Owl Project in the YSP Boat House to create your own limited edition iLog. Join this exciting workshop as you learn about the electronics and woodwork behind the Owl Project’s instruments.
