KILLER PICKTON Based on the real-life horror of Robert Pickton, the Canadian pig farmer who killed as many as 125 Vancouver prostitutes and drug addicts and fed them to his pigs. After drugging or killing the women, Pickton ground up their bodies in a wood chipper, mixed the flesh with pork meat, and sold the results to an unsuspecting public. ULLIE LOMMEL Lommel is a German-born actor and filmmaker with extensive career in both Europe and the US, and his collaboration with directors Rainer Werner Fassbinder, and Andy Warhol. As an actor, he starred in Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s directorial debut work “Love is Colder Than Death” for which the cast as an ensemble won an award at the German Film Awards in 1970. Noted for his horror films, Lommel, as a director, has been nominated for Golden Berlin Bear in 1973 for his second film « The Tenderness of Wolves» which as nominated at the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival for the Golden Bear. After moving to the US in 1977, Lommel started working with Andy Warhol in films such as « Blank Generation .» In 1980 Lommel made “The Boogeyman” (1980), which became an overnight sensation and box-office hit. After he started his own repertory group, he has made 16 genre films from drama to science-fiction, released by Lionsgate Films, and highly commercial US Home Theatre Premieres.
