The FARMER AND THE
VIPER

Once upon a time, a farmer is walking home after a whole day of working in the farm.
On the way back home, he found a viper stiff and frozen with cold.
“What a pity snake” the farmer said.
The farmer then take off his hat, put the viper inside, and brings it home.
The farmer puts the viper beside the fireplace carefully, trying to wake the viper with warmth.
After a long day of working, the farmer felt very tired, so he fell into sleep right away.
In the meantime, the warmth of the fire revived the viper, and it crawls towards the farmer.
The sleeping farmer got no idea that the viper is going to bite him.
“AHHH!!” The farmer is been wake in sudden pain, he felt something bitten him on his chest.
“Why? Why you do this to me, I saved you…” The farmer asked the viper. “Of courses I do, I am a scoundrel, a viper” the viper said.
“You can’t just leave like this…” the farmer said. But the viper just left without even looking back.
“Oh”, cried the Farmer with his last breath. “I am rightly served for pitying a scoundrel.”
