Project: M.A.E. (Museum of Art and Energy) Key words: architectural elements / sludge / sustainability Time: 2021/08- 2021/11 Application: Rhino / Sketchup / Vary / Enscape / Photoshop / AutoCAD / Lumion Type: Individual Statement: For this project, the energy system of the museum collaborates with the sludge process and emphasizes the horizontal element, ceiling or flooring and secondly the vertical element column to generate the electricity and control the indoor temperature. For the sludge, the primary source is human waste or excrement. The waste is transferred to tanks by pipes hidden underground and disposed of inside the anaerobic digesters. The value of sludge cloud not be underestimated. The energy system of the museum could collaborate with the sludge process and emphasize the horizontal element, ceiling or flooring and secondly, the horizontal element column. The museum beyond the carbon for services as the entry point of the museum with the physical and digital artworks to generate electricity and manufacture the indoor “climate.”

With the advancement of technology and science, the relationship between art and science is closer than before, from the fountain by Marcel Duchamp and Rrose Sélavy, the original Cloaca to Blending science, art and other excrements by Wim Delvoye in MONA. Sludge or excrement has been gradually considered as the participant of the art process. Under the current technology, museums maintain the fragile culture relic or information by utilizing the air-conditioning machine or advanced technology to control the indoor temperature. However, current machines may lead to the emission of carbon form and global warming.




Project: Water Museum in Perth Key words: architecture / water infrastructures / sustainability Time: 2022/08- 2022/11 Application: Rhino / Sktechup / Vary/ QGIS / Enscape / Photoshop / Lumion / AutoCAD Type: Individual Statement: Perth is an area of water scarcity due to the limited water sources and its vulnerability to drought. Water infrastructures are an important symbol of Perth’s development and primary water management strategy. However, the invisible ‘relation’ between water management and inhabitants has been fracturing. The project intends to explore and use private water management infrastructures to be transferred within the public spaces of a museum to raise social conscience and awareness around a resource. A new way of understanding water infrastructures is introduced based on the contradiction between civic or private and public spaces, in which not only the technical problems are addressed but also disseminated as a form of knowledge.





Project: INITIAL Key words: high-rise building / construction Time: 2021/02- 2021/07 Application: Rhino / Vary / Photoshop / Lumion / AutoCAD Type: group + individual Statement: As a new starting point, the INITIATIVE Building is located in the western district of Melbourne CBD, near the Southern Cross station. The complex integrates luxury hotels, premium office and commercial areas with direct access to the developed Lonsdale St Precinct. The total site area is 6080m², and the whole building height is 228,7m (including the crown) with 6% setback on the site boundary. These setbacks are crucial in the tower shape in its North-East longitudinal form, which also enables the overall look of the INITIATIVE Building to remain slender and elegant. Some key aspects of Initiative Building are that it is 44 storeys (excluding 4 storeys on parking basement), 26 storeys for office, 1 storey for hotel sky lobby, and 15 storeys for luxury hotels. In addition, there is a hotel sky lobby which has 6.3m typical floor to floor heights. The Typical floor plate has a GFA of 1,944m², and an NLA of 1,584m², which calculates efficiency of 81.48%. Therefore, the building complex has a total GFA of 79,704m².





Project: JAMBY STREET Key words: future house / student competition Time: 2020/8- 2020/11 Application: Rhino / Sktechup / Vary / AutoCAD / Photoshop Type: Group Statement: When looking to address the projected population growth in Melbourne, our group was struck by the major gap in housing density between the inner and middle ring suburbs. As such, we decided to challenge the height and setback provisions of the planning scheme and densify the family home. We did our research into demographics, housing and car ownership trends over the next 20-30 years. The biggest insight from this research was that families change, their needs shift and their desires are anything but static. One thing is clear, a home must reflect this through adaptability and future-proofing. So we’ve designed provisions to future-proof each home and communal spaces.We’ve increased amenity to make family homes that work for a lifetime using design tools like double height living spaces, north/south aspects and generous outdoor space.Through material choices, shading and framing design we’re cutting construction costs and increasing environmental performance.





Project: Congregation of Possessions Key words: Narratives / Philosophy Time: 2021/02- 2021/07 Application: Rhino / Sktechup / AutoCAD / Photoshop / Illustrator Type: Individual Statement: Initially, you do not know why you are consuming, laughing, and losing the ability to think and flight. You are trapped inside the illusion and passion world with enormous information, but you still firmly believe you find your happiness. I always believe I could be your possession forever. However, I was disposed and abandoned, as the planned obsolesce. It is my faith, Then, I have been waiting for a long time. They will collect, deliver, record, assemble, repair, and allow us to second edition of the biography. This is a building for electronic repairs and delivery men and consumers to against consumption. The new architecture can be a place to encourage a new way of consumption and denote the interaction of occupants with their day-to-day life. Passing through the forum, customers entering second-hand stores may make different decisions for their possessions. Ultimately, the central public building is the beginning and also an outcome.




Project: City of Alternative Market Key words: architectural fragments / history Time: 2022/02- 2022/08 Application: Rhino / Vary / Enscape / Photoshop / / AutoCAD Type: Individual Statement: The project applies fragments of Smithfield markets to rebuild and re-organised the alternative market in a new approach to recall the memory of the occupants and citizens and further echoing to the context. Geometric volumes with various programs can create a relationship among the public or citizens because the rooms with functions stimulate the events or memory of the occupants. Programmatic volumes (rooms) become the container or storage area of historic buildings and cities.
