Mangroves kayaking

"Mangrove forests are integral to the preservation of the UAE coastline; it is also under constant threat. These threats include coastal development, pollution, sedimentation, changes in tidal flow and human impacted activities.

MANGROVES KAYAKING AT ABU DHABI

We kayak all year round (unless it is too hot!). We offer tours at the weekend and also on weekdays apart from a Sunday (We've got to have a day off sometime!). We currently operate on a morning, midday & afternoon schedule. Start times will vary depending on the tides, wind & the time of year.

EASTERN MANGROVES

The Eastern Mangrove Lagoon is the closest mangrove forest in Abu Dhabi City and popular for sea paddlers to visit. It’s referred to as the Eastern Mangrove Lagoon National Park. It will be the first of five national parks identified in Plan Abu Dhabi 2030. Other areas include: Abu Abyadh, Al Aryam and the Al Dhabeia islands of Abu Dhabi.

PADI SWIM School

Adult Lessons

Our Learn to Swim program is ideal for all ages and abilities, including students with special needs. The PADI Swim School has proved to produce results by our dedicated instructors. We currently hold lessons at Westin Hotel Golf and Spa, Crowne Plaza on Yas Island and Marina Square, Al Reem Island. The time available will depend upon the level of your student. Our Instructors will provide an assessment and advise the level for you or your children prior to registration.

Its never too late to learn to swim whether you are 20 years old or 60 years old. It is a lifestyle skill that everyone should learn. We have a great program developed for the adult learner for all levels from non swimmers to triathletes. Leaarn the basic four swimming styles including frontcrawl, backcrawl, butterfly and breaststroke and water safety skills for water survival and treading water.
