Problems When medical and volunteer clinic teams do medical aid in remote areas,they might face the following difficulties: 1/ It's inconvenient to carry numbers of medical equipments when entering mountain areas. 2/ The existing products can not provide a complete and affective using space.
Motivation Looking forward to design a medical aid set which could solve the problems when doing medical aid and try to achieve the following purposes: 1/ Provide portable medical equipment to volunteer clinic teams 2/ Promote the benefit of medical care

Product Definition Medical Aid Set for Remote Area We focus on the volunteer clinic teams that may face the following difficulties when doing medical treatment in remote areas: 1. It is inconvenient to carry numbers of medical equipments when entering mountain areas. 2. The existing products can not provide a complete and affective using space. Combining the real needs and our aspect, we are looking forward to design a medical aid set for remote area based on the process of medical treatment and try to achieve two main purposes: one is to provide portable medical equipments to the volunteer medical teams, another is to bring modern medical resources into remote areas as much as possible.

Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps (TRMPC) Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps (TRMPC) is a private, nonsectarian, non-profit organization dedicated to improving quality of life through provision of medical services and health education. Founded in 1995, by the vision of Dr. Chi-Chun Liu ( 劉 啟 群 ), TRMPC joined talented medical personnel with enthusiastic volunteers to form a medical service group. TRMPC sets up temporary medical service clinics in different mountain areas of Taiwan every month. Doctors, dentists, and volunteers provide free medical care as well as educational health material to the local population. TRMPC works to improve the local communities’ current condition and offers resources for developing self-reliant health care systems. On international medical service trips, TRMPC extends medical services to the most needy populations, conducts research on tropical diseases and HIV/AIDS, and promotes community-based health education.
No. 258 Free Clinic in Miaoli, Taian A two day trip on 22 and 23, september. With TRMPC, we entered mountain areas in Miaoli county, provided free medical service and did the observation and interview.

Introduction An adjustable agility ladder is to offer proper physical therapy to a wide range of clients within a range of physical abilities, heights, and stride lengths, and ssist with the rehabilitation of these patients who need to learn how to walk again.
About SWAN SWAN Rehabilitation in Phoenix, Arizona specializes in this type of rehabilitation service; particularly, Swan deals with stroke disabilities in the realm of paralysis or problems controlling movement. Paralysis is one of the most common disabilities resulting from stroke and it may affect an entire side of the body, this one-sided paralysis is called hemiplegia. This rehabilitation is to reverse the brain damage the stroke has caused, help survivors gain their independence, and attain the best quality of life post-stroke. About Fiesta & ASD Fiesta Pediatric Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona specialized in treatment of children with ASD. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Autism are both general terms for a group of complex neurodevelopment disorders characterized by social impairments, communication difficulties, and restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior. One of the ways Fiesta does this through sensory-enhancing treatment as unusual responses to sensory stimuli are very common and prominent in children with autism.

Design Introduction Starbright stands 4-feet by 4-feet tall. The final material we chose to use is similar to the material Landscape Structures uses for their play sets. All the gears and body will be made of a hard recycled plastic and the spinning mechanisms will be metal. There will still be a clear material in the front to protect the children from moving elements. The dimensions and measurements of the individual components are included in a supplementary document.

Design Concept The design idea comes from an egg in a nest. The three fans represent the wings of the birds, which protect the light bulb. The delicate sticks are the adornments which symbolize the sticks gathered by the birds to make the nest.

Introduction Recycle the abandoned materials and remake a rustic chair. The column is reminiscent of the waterwheel in the countryside. A chair is offered for people who need take a rest, and also a farm which makes people feel relaxed Forgetting the bustle and receiving the warmth from a handmade product.
Design Concept This design idea is based on the natural lifestyle on a farm. The cushion has a gentle wood feeling which makes people feel as if they are sitting on the grass to have a break and a bottle of cold milk. The pace of modern life is fast and busy, but the chair is reminiscent of an easier, more relaxed pace of life.

Introduction This idea comes from Facebook and YouTube, where people can share music or videos with each other. The service offers an opportunity to relax and enjoy singing to those who do not have the chance to go to karaoke.
Design Concept Cloud Music Database// Music Player// Individual Singing Device Via the establishment of a cloud music database, people may acquire free music which they can share with friends whenever they like. This music player with a personal singing device and microphone enables people to enjoy karaoke in the privacy of their home. Additionally, via the cloud connection, they may celebrate and sing with friends in order to relax and get away from their busy lives.

10 National Palace Museum Souvenir Design 隆妝
Introduction The design is for an exhibition of the National Palace Museum. The idea is based on the trend of ancient costumes, and it is tailor-made to design a functional make-up product.
Target User > The female clients who would like to treasure the exhibitions as remembrance > To the young generation who is interested in the exquisite make-up products
The idea of mass production / The prime cost/ Outlet prices It is practical to cooperate with the costume brand and broaden the business of the Museum. The clients purchase souvenirs, which connects the design products to our daily lives and shows their functions. The prime cost of each product is about NTD 50 to 150, and the outlet price is about NTD 200 to 450.

」 indicates that the main character is the emperor Qianlong and
represents how the beauties diligently dress themselves. The idea behind the design is the exquisite set make-up including lipstick, nail polish, and eye shadow, which comes from the curios of the Qing Dynasty and combines with the modern make-up nowadays. The clients can not only obtain souvenirs but also integrate these historical antique into their daily lives, which may increase the enjoyment of life and create a common conversation topic among people.

Design Concept Normally, through the juicer, oranges are squeezed to make bottles of juice. However, the designer made this Alien juicer, which cannot squeeze juice deliberately. The purpose of this design is to indicate that most designers are just like the juicer. The Alien juicer squeezes the orange with all its strength, but the machine does not work, so there is no juice at all. The situation is similar with designers who work hard to think of ideas, but have difficulty in their designs due to a lack of inspiration.

The balance of movement It is progressing repeatedly. Through the inspiration and brainstorming, the target is gradually reached. In the circle, our target is getting closer. There is no specific answer; between destruction and construction, we try to find a balance.
The Summary of Taiwan Tech Design Week TTDW means: Taiwan Tech Design Week - 台灣科大設計週 . The TTDW (Taiwan Tech Design Week) is a 10-day activity. The content includes an exhibition, seminar and related activities. The exhibitions contain the design works from the freshmen students to the senior students in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Additionally, the exhibitions also include the works for the New Generation exhibitions. The content includes product design and animation design. In the seminar session, we invited many excellent designers to give speeches; these designers included Mr. Chen, Yen-Ting, the new talent in Taiwan, the Pinzaan promoter Mr. Lin, Fei-Bi, the AGUA Design Ms. Chou, Yu-Ju, the ex-IDEO Asian region marketing manager Mr. Albert Chen, the Taiwan Design Center’s Mr. Kevin Yang, and the noted musician Lim Giong. With regards to the activity session, there was a wonderful opening and closing ceremony, crossover dancing performance, and DVJ shows. The TTDW activity is getting bigger, and it is hoped that the activity may become increasingly prominent in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
