What is this application about? This application was designed especially for Taiwanese people, through which they can pray to god on their phone - no matter if it is Mazhu, Earth God, God of Marriage or others, it is for all kinds of wishes. People don't even need to leave their homes to buy all genres of offering online, just provide their wishes and information, and it will be taken care of by the temple automatically.

Digitalize taiwanese culture There are tons of gods in Taiwan, thus more than 12,300 temples are built on this small island. Taoism (Buddhism and folk religion) is the largest religion in Taiwan. The problem I encountered during this projets was "How can I digitalize traditional culture/objects, create simple icons/symbols that well represent gods and will be understood by all ages at the same time?". It was a fun and interesting project to participate in, and I found myself learning a lot about my culture and religion due to the research I did for the development of the app.

To fulfill the corporate social responsibility of rural education in Taiwan, ASE hosted a charitable camp that consists of various types of courses for kids in Shanlin District, Kaohsiung.
06 Design concept The covers of the teaching materials were designed differently due to the age differences between the two classes. The advanced class's textbook book cover was painted with watercolor, which has a much steadier tone and mature design. On the other hand, the book cover of the textbook for the basic class was painted by a digital painting software using brighter color and irregular style.

True Reports logo Design A news platform that only delivers truth to the audience and society
Icon Design " 實 " character means real and truth in mandarin, which is also the initial belief of developing this news website page. I chose the character as the base of the logo design, took the alphabet T and R from the name True Reports as the representation of the full name, combined them into the character 實 so that the logo can present their names in Chinese and English at the same time. True Reports is an online news website and platform that shares true news to society. I added a wifi symbol on the top of the logo to represent this idea.

How to play?

Brief introduction of Evoke
A group of wizards cast their greedy eyes on the powerful crystal of the Fantasy Kingdom that declared war over and over again. One day, a powerful wizard has awakened but lost his memory and forgot the reason for being locked in the cellar. What truth will he learn throughout the process of trying to escape this unknown mysterious place?

The story behind Evoke Once upon a time, there were two kingdoms, one named the Kingdom of Wizard, another named the Fantasy Kingdom. As time went by, the wizards started to cast their greedy eyes on the Force crystal in the Fantasy Kingdom, which was amazingly powerful and rare. To be able to seize the precious crystal, the Wizard's Kingdom united all the best wizards in the nation, preparing for declaring their first war against the Fantasy Kingdom. But as the war began, the wizards were soon defeated by the three formidable divine beasts, Meduse, Lycans, and Murloc. The Wizard's Kingdom lost the war, which caused a tremendous number of injuries and deaths. However, losing the first war did not stop the wizards from being envious of the Force crystal. They trained to fight and become better warriors. Years later, the Wizard's kingdom launched the second war, in which the wizards successfully beat down one of the divine beasts, Murloc. The moment the wizards were about to snatch the crystal, the force inside it released all of a sudden, bringing the giant of iron to life. The giant repelled the attacking wizards and slipped once again into deep oblivion when the force of crystal was gone.

We developed the enchanting gesture system with controller gesture tracking, in which the players can release a specific spell by drawing a requested form and follow the Wuxing (Chinese philosophy) rule that the element fire prevails over wood, wood prevail over water, and water prevails over fire.
The game is designed to play without any piror knowledge of the story, so the player can have the best experience by the plot twist that happened at the end of the game. We aimed to raise reflection on conflicts because of limited resources through an imaginary interesting and less controversial storyline.
