Reason The light styles of old design and new design are the same. The reason is that the old design’s light is very bright, and it is also suitable for office or class, so I use the LED light tube. The position of the new design light is same with old design’s LED light tube because the desk is under the light, and the light can directly shine on the desk.
L2
In the new design, I added two pendant lights in the position of the ceiling fan because I removed the original ceiling fan and replaced it with the pendant light. The reason for adding pendant light is because I want to make the indoor visual look warm, so I added two chandeliers to add beauty and this light bulb can help save electricity
V1
The old design and the new design use the same air conditioner. The reason for using the same air conditioner is that this air conditioner can increase the cooling rate in a short time and quickly cool the room. And when the system leaks or the compressor is overloaded, the display will show "EC" to warn the user, which can detect and better prevent damage to the compressor. This is also one of the reasons why I don’t change the air conditioner.
V2
The ceiling fan was replaced by the pendant light. Because of the air-conditioning, the ceiling fan was removed in the new design. The other reason is because this is my bedroom, and I prefer to blow air-conditioning than a fan, so the fan is rarely used, so the ceiling fan should be replaced by a pendant light in the new design.

Hang on the window to use. PROTOTYPE DESCRIPTION The heat transfer effect of all material that I used is slow, and heat insulation effect is good. Box and paper roll are not easy to transfer heat and can also block sunlight and heat. Heat can be transferred into the room more slowly. In addition, wood chopsticks are not easy to transfer heat also because wood transfer heat slowly. This product can hung on the window. When sunlight enters the room, we can pull down to block the sunlight. Then, the small bag can put things like pen, keychain, accessories and more. When not in use, we can use the wooden chopsticks on both sides to roll up the paper. CONCLUSION In conclusion, this class of Building Science and Services gave me knowledge that I would not usually learn and understand. This assignment and report allowed me to learn a lot about heat transfer. Let me have the opportunity to make a product that blocks the sun's heat.

The prepared food will be placed on the island before being brought out Can also be used as a bar counter. KITCHEN INVISIBILITY Can chat with family during cooking or baking activities to bring us closer and improve our relationship. In the process of preparing meals or baking, everyone will put down their electronic products. DESIGNER CONCLUSIONS The three hole socket (outlets) needs to be added again, because more than two electronic pots or other electronic products will be used while cooking, so it will take time to wait for the end of the other electronic products to start the next action. One of the sockets has been fixed for the water dispenser, only three are left. The sink needs to be reduced by one, because three is a bit too much. Add induction cooker.

DETAIL INFORMATION OF THE KITCHEN WORKTOP & WALL CABINET
The height of the character is based on my height of 155 as a demonstration. The height of the worktop of this design is 85cm, which is just right for people of 155cm. It will not be too tall or too short to use. The height of the wall cabinet from the ground is 160cm, and the height of 50cm can be used to get the items. However, if the cabinet is divided into two layers, the second floor needs auxiliary tools such as a chair for the 155cm person to get the items. For example, the height of the worktop is 85cm. For people with a height of 180cm~190cm, they need to bend over to use it, which is an uncomfortable height. However, the wall cabinet with a height of 160cm from the ground can easily take things from the wall cabinet. Head will accidentally bump into the wall cabinet by bending slightly. DESIGN CABINET CONCLUSION Designing furniture, such as worktops, wall cabinets or bar counters, requires an analysis of the height of the customer to determine the size of the design furniture, so that the customer is comfortable when using it. For example, the height standard for designing a worktop is height (cm) x 0.5 +5 (cm). It is not recommended to increase or decrease based on the height of the kitchen currently in use.

To qualitatively evaluate ventilation, both passive (openings) and active –hood and exhaust fans Openings The kitchen is not equipped with any exhaust fans, range hoods or fans, which will cause residual odors in the connecting space outside the kitchen. Although the smell does not have much influence on the inside, it will be uncomfortable to smell. After all, it is a heavy oily smoke. The oily smoke will also stain the clothes and hair. It is a peculiar smell. Therefore, it needs to be fast without leaving any peculiar smell, and it is necessary to install an exhaust fan or a pumping unit in the kitchen, so that the smell of oily smoke can be quickly removed from the room. Hood Most people now install range hoods in their homes, because they can help to exhaust the remaining oily smoke after using the kitchen. You can also turn on the range hood before frying, frying, boiling, and steaming food. The reason is that if you turn on the range hood while cooking, it will expel the oily smoke more quickly, because if you turn it on when you finish cooking, the oily smoke will have been around the kitchen or spread to other spaces. Advantages The advantage of using the range hood is that the position of the range hood is directly above the position of the induction stove or the gas stove, which directly exhausts the oil fume from the pan, so basically after using the kitchen, there will be no heavy oil fume. The smell may not remain at all. The range hood is equipped with lighting, so the lighting can also be turned on to make it brighter. The range hood can be adjusted large, medium and small, so that you can choose the size of the exhaust you need. Disadvantages The size of the range hood is not small, so if you install a range hood in a small kitchen, it will limit the use space, and the overall space of the kitchen will also look very crowded. However, if a range hood is not installed in a small kitchen, it will also affect the indoor air to become bad, and the smell of oil smoke will remain for a long time, but the installation will cause the space to be insufficient or become narrow. This is one of the reasons for the poor use of range hoods in small kitchens. But if the space is relatively large in the kitchen, it will not have that big impact. Users with a relatively high height will accidentally bump into the range hood when using it. BLD 62304 I 2020 | The Design School @ Taylor’s Ong Sin Yee
Exhaust fans As the name implies, the air is exhausted. This air mainly refers to indoor odor, humidity, oily smoke, smoke from smoking in the home and other filthy air, which is exhausted from indoor to outdoor. If the exhaust fan stops working, the fan leaves will not merge. Advantages The use range of exhaust fan is larger than that of range hood. Exhaust fan can be used not only in the kitchen, but also in the bathroom, toilet or storage room. It is also smaller than the range hood, does not occupy a place, and is flatter, unlike the range hood. The function of exhaust fan not only exhausts the fume of oily smoke, but also can be turned on when the kitchen temperature is high, effectively exhausting the heat of the kitchen and helping the kitchen cool down. Disadvantages Although the exhaust fan can exhaust the oily smoke and indoor heat, the effect is not so good, and it takes a long time to exhaust the oily smoke. User must dig a square hole in the wall to install the exhaust fan, so if user don’t want to use the exhaust fan in the future, we will need to put the hole in it if want to remove it. This will waste a lot of money and insects will fly in.

FIRE SAFETY Because the kitchen is the area with the highest amount of fire in the entire home, the furniture materials used must be carefully selected and not negligent to prevent accidents, such as fires. The material chosen as the worktop must be non-combustible material (flammable first-class material), so in the kitchen worktop and island, the material I choose to use is ‘acrylic artificial stone’. Artificial stone building material is a fireproof building material made of acrylic resin filled with aluminum hydroxide at high temperature. It has the texture of natural stone and has a warmer texture. Because there are no pores, there will be no dyeing problems. It is also environmentally friendly, non-toxic, non-radioactive, nonirritating, and can directly contact food. If you accidentally burn the countertop, there will be no heavy odor. The material is composite acrylic pure aluminum powder, without any calcium powder. . Acrylic artificial stone is used for kitchen countertops and table tops are wear-resistant and scratch-resistant. . The water absorption rate is lower than 0.03, preventing pollution and chemical invasion. It can be repaired with cooking oil, the more polished it gets brighter, the defect can be repaired with daily toothpaste, and the poorly constructed surface can be reformed. It can be used not only on the worktop, but also on the dining table and bar counter. Commercial use includes bank counters, bar counters, salad bars, conference tables, makeup counters, etc., suitable for design products. In addition, it can also be displayed in the bathroom, such as washbasin, massage bathtub edge, bathroom wall, door threshold, etc., which are all suitable for interior design and decoration. They are not only beautiful, elegant, noble, but also practical.

REPORT OF BUILDING SERVICES IN KITCHEN INTRODUCTION This report is to discuss the original kitchen, and then redesign the new kitchen area. The transformation of the kitchen is to design your own dream kitchen, and there is no limit on the amount or material budget. The redesign of the kitchen is to improve the performance of the kitchen, so the content of the redesign includes the fireproof material of the worktop, the supply of water and electricity, and the addition and reduction of inlets and outlets. FINDING Electrical equipments Original equipment: two refrigerators, three sinks, one water dispenser Add equipment: one oven, one cooking hob, one induction stove, dishwasher machine Remove equipment: decrease one sink Reason for retention The reason for keeping the water dispenser is to use it every day, because if I remove it, I have to boil the water myself and also waste time in boiling water. Because the water dispenser is when I want to drink water, I can drink cold or hot water at the touch of a button. Keep two refrigerators as there is more space to store food. In this original kitchen, there are no gas stoves and induction stoves because they all use electronic pots. But in the kitchen of redesign, I joined the induction stove and chose the induction stove because it is safer than the gas stove. The induction stove has a safety test function and a safety lock, but the gas stove does not. When the gas is used up, you still need to wait for the gas to be delivered before installing. This will waste a lot of time and delay the freshness of the food. So recommend induction stove. A dishwasher is also a must. Without a dishwasher, you need to wash the dishes manually, your hands will come into contact with the dishwashing liquid, and your opponent's skin is not good. Even if you wear gloves, it takes time to wash the dishes. So with a dishwasher, as long as you put the dishes or cups in, one button can start to help us wash the dishes, we just have to wait and take out the clean dishes.

COOKING HOOD DISHWASHER MACHINE
The range hood uses the largest amount of electricity, but it is also an indispensable and easy-to-use kitchenware. Because without it, the smell of oily smoke will remain in the kitchen and it is difficult to discharge. Electrical distribution lines Power distribution refers to the process of transferring power from the power source to the load center in accordance with the load demand. Power distribution is also divided into strong electricity and weak electricity. Household appliances, such as refrigerators, air conditioners, lamps...the ones that need long-term electricity consumption are all strong electricity, while computers, TVs...are equipped with weak electricity

Water supply distribution lines Water supply input is also an important part. Water supply input is imported from outside the home and then distributed to the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen. There are two installation methods for hydropower configuration, one is to install in the ceiling, and the other is to install under the floor. Now it is popular for water to go to the top and electricity to go to the ground. Nowadays, the water pipes in large and medium-sized homes or companies’ kitchens and bathrooms are up and down for easy maintenance. Then the hot water pipe will be insulated. There is no need to walk the whole house to the sky. If there is a water leak, the floor below will be soaked, and the construction is difficult and the existing technology is not mature, so basically the living room and bedroom need to use water and electricity on the ground, while the kitchen and bathroom It is a better way to go to the sky, the cost is easy to control, and the construction difficulty is also reduced. Water supply underground
Advantages of walking underground The materials and labor costs that need to be consumed are less, and the above-ground construction is more convenient than others, the construction is not difficult to shorten the construction period, and most of the hydropower masters are skilled. Disadvantages Taking an apartment as an example, the leaking of the underground water pipe joints will cause bricks, which is not easy to detect. You have to wait until the leak is downstairs and you can find something upstairs. When repairing, you must pry up the bricks or the floor, which is troublesome and may cause serious losses and even affect the relationship between the neighbors downstairs.

WATER SUPPLY CEILING
Advantages of walking the ceiling Once there is a problem, you can detect it in time. If the water leaks, the most is dripping in your own space, and the water pipes are generally distributed in the kitchen and bathroom spaces. Disadvantages High-altitude operations have high technical requirements for the master, and the material and labor costs will be more than those on the ground

CONCLUSION The home is the place where you stay the longest, so not only do you have to design the interior well, but you also need to plan how to install and understand the water electrical supply that you don't usually see. If the installation is not good, you will lose these repair fees or reinstall and purchase time in the future. Kitchen appliances also need to be carefully considered for reference. Home appliances that can save electricity and environmental protection can not only help us save money, but also not harm the environment.
