REFLECTION
In this class, furniture design, I learned the importance of joinery to every object, such as daily necessities, large and small items or furniture. Joinery plays an important role. The role of joinery allows items to be rotated or opened and closed, or linked together. After 30 sketches of assignment 1, I can better understand every little detail or name of joinery. Assignment 2 and assignment 3 also allow me to learn the joinery and understanding in assignment 1, better use or play in assignment 2 and 3. So assignment 1 is also very important, so that I can better complete the design of assignment 2 and assignment 3. In assignment 2, artist box, you can use the tools and equipment of the workshop, and you can better experience the fun of making an artist box by yourself. Although I only went to the workshop twice because of covid, the experience of the two was already very interesting. Thanks also to the two lecturer for their teaching and transferring knowledge, allowing me to learn a lot of knowledge and get a lot of feedback in the furniture design class.
