Thesis Statement A space of mental idleness where the opportunity for calmness and reflection exists could provide one possible solution for regular stress relief. The current speed of life does not allow enough interstitial time for things to just kind of settle down. The lack of "rules" or order in this transition allows it to be a place of everyday escape and psychological relief. These moments of liminality are important in people’s everyday lives as they allow for unfocused thinking. (Megan, 2014) This proposal seeks an emergent typology that allows users room to ‘breathe’, to absorb what they have experienced, and to prepare for what is to come. Perhaps a temporary space for positive distraction will allow them to forget factors that they may deem stressful to them, and the state they are in will allow them to not only exist but to feel alive again.
Research Question How to create an architecture journey that makes people feel alive, be present, and heal? How does the concept of Wabi-Sabi Architecture effect manipulates spatial experience that is conceptually & perceptually
Research Aim To explore and experimenting the link between architectural form and human emotions that constitutes the manipulation of Wabi Sabi Architecture effect. To explore the potential expression of imperfection, impermanence, and incompletion that evokes a sense of healing effect that expanse treatments beyond medics and architecturally
"Promenade of Rebirth: Embracing, Unfolding Wabi-Sabi Architecture in the Void of Life between Existence and Death" This poetic phrase suggests a journey or path that leads through a unique architectural experience inspired by the principles of Wabi-sabi. The architecture embodies the beauty of imperfection and the natural passage of time, symbolizing a metaphorical "rebirth" or renewal. The "promenade" implies a deliberate exploration of this space, and it becomes a representation of life's journey, navigating the transient and evolving aspects between existence and death. The phrase combines various elements of philosophy, architecture, and life's impermanence, creating a profound and thoughtprovoking concept.
Proposed Program
Typology: Promenade / Crossing
The project propose a series of promenade crossing emphasizing on the journey of users as a connection of emotions directing to sequences of contrasting spatial experience for recuperate, relaxation and reflection to accommodate and respond to the user emotional needs and functional requirement.
A space/place for Recuperation User Group
Home = the impermanence stay of life Hospital = Place of acceptance, where life & death are accepted and certified. It always experience a series of climactic moment during the journey from home visiting to hospital and leaving the medical healthcare in the event of primary care checkout, emergency admission, and in-patient stay.

Design Exploration The project is developed through the rapid experimentation of conceptual models and diagrammatic frameworks that mediate between emotional journey of users and naturalistic elements. Emotion Mapping based on user engagement during their journey visiting to hospital and leaving from hospital, in different event and scenario in order to understand their climatic moment. Type of event: Primary Care Checkout
Emergency Admission
In-patient Stay

Result were then translated into line and overlay with one another to figure the connection as path. Adaptive re-use to natural elements (stones, leaves, tree branches) found on site, naturally matches with lines drawings, resulting separation of spaces and path.
