camera rental system for travelers "City Link" is a camera rental system that helps tourists make travel plans easily and provides information they need during their trips. There are three touchpoints of this system:

Public Rental Device
Camera
This device is located in the hubs of a big city where tourists can easily access. Rent a camera from this device to have a better trip in an unfamiliar city.
High quality HD camera which supports Wifi, GPS functions and touchscreen. Reducing the burden of backpackers without bringing their own cameras and providing travel service to help the travelers explore the city better. After returning, wireless charging will be offered by the rental device.

This system rank tourist attractions by analyzing the big data of image and GPS information on the cloud. Users can view the photo wall on the website and get detailed information of a place by clicking the photo. In this way, they can make a perfect travel plan easily.

Background When the fire occurs, the safety of residents is considered the most important. Everything is unpridicable in the fire scene. Firefighters are very possible to lose direction and miss the time to escape.

Firehose
Nozzleperson
We visited some fire station in Tainan and learned about the outfit of firefighter, the process of arranging the firehoses, and the way they communicate with each other when the fire occurs. We got two conclusions, first, the firehose is the only tangible connection between internal and external; second, the transmission of thier radio is a time-consuming process.
When arriving at the fire scene, every firefighter will work together to arrange the firehose. The firehoses are easily to get twisted so they have to come back to make them smooth. Because the firehoses are always put at a safe route, they can be a escaping reference.
The mission of the nozzleperson is to attack the fire. They are always around the firehose. Every firefighter is equiped with a radio and a life-saving device. The radio allows them to talk to each other and the life-saving device m a k e s o u n d s w h e n t h e r e ’s someone need to be rescued.
Concept Taking advantage of the connection and safety feature of the firehoses, we hope to make them a clear guide to escape. Let the firefighters run instead of crawl out of the fire scene.

Product Features Double hose Using double hose to make it more stable and hard to twist. Each extremity has a connector to connect with the origin single hoses.
Laser Device Put Laser devices on the hose every sixty centimeters. The Laser Devices will make clear vertical light beams to point out the way to escape.

Life-Saving Device Every firefighters is equiped with this device. The original function of this device is to make huge sound to attract others' attention when someone is in danger. Now with the technique of zigbee, it's also a remote control of the laser devices on the firehoses.
Charge and detect device After using the firehose, fold them as the shape of “Z“and put the life-saving device on the back to charge all of them. After charging, press the button on the life-saving device to see if all the lasers are workable.
The device works only when the plug is pulled.

Step 1. Arrange the firehoses

connect order: fire truck- single firehose-manifoldadapter-double firehose-adaptersingle firehose- nozzle.
Step 2. Turn on the lasers Situation 1. When the firefighter is awake
Press the button on the lifesaving device.
The laser devices are open to form beams.
Escape along the beam route .
The laser devices are opened by the sounds.
Other firefighters come to rescue.
Situation 2. When the firefighter is in a coma
The life-saving device detects that there’s a faint firefighter and makes sounds. 23

Step 3. Maintenance
Put the firehose and the life-saving devices on the charge device. After charging, the red line will turn into green.
Untie the metal clip to replace the broken laser device.
Press the control button to see if every laser device is workable.
Lock the tie and put the firehoses into the fire truck.
