About me
Over the past nine years I have been employed by Design based Architecture studios in Alexandria & Cairo in Egypt, Istanbul in Turkey and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia where I have worked on a variety of educational, residential, commercial, transportation and retail mixed-use projects worldwide. In spite of my short stay in Istanbul, I designed a university which was published in a well known reputable Turkish magazine. I have participated in two international Architecture competitions which were held by the Thyssenkrupp Elevator company, and amongst all the teams from all over the world, my projects were short listed.
I am a graduate of Alexandria University, one of the largest and most reputable universities in Egypt; I studied at the Architectural department. My B.Sc. project was a proposal for a resort in a very hot arid region (Sewa Oasis), I used the environmental trends in this project in the urban planning process as well as the Architecture design phase. Amongst a class of 80, my graduation project was the best, I have taken the highest grade in the graduation project, and my project was kept in the university’s exhibition. My grades in the architecture design from the first to the last year were very good.
My role is to start the project from scratch & stop once the clients approve the design. Then the role of the design developing team starts. I am establishing the general scope, conceptual design, scale and relationships among the components of the projects. My experience is basically in the schematic design phase more than design development phase. My CV clearly shows my ability to utilize 3dMax, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and basic skills in SketchUp. Some projects I design only the form and the building from outside using 3dMax, then after creating a nice form we start in exctracting the plans, go back and change in the form and so on. Sometimes I start from the plans then see how it looks in 3d then go back cnd change in the plans. I love design. I love Architecture. I love what I am doing. There is a charm in being an architect. I am not saying that I am a super Architect or a super designer. I am an Architect. I need to learn a lot, see a lot and work harder to be a great designer ond day.
masjid in Maldives This project is in Maldives. It was a closed competition between 3 Architecture firms. I designed the concept in Urbanisma SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur. My role here was creating the form of this iconic Masjid. The location of the Masjid is in Male, the capital of Maldives. It’s opposite to the airport and all the visitors to Maldives should see it during landing.

01. Serviced Residences & Hotel in Kuantan. Malaysia I started the project here from scratch. I Finished the schematic design phase. I generated the plans, the section and the massing study above. The design was approved by the client.
02,03. Soho, Malasyia. It was a fast concept to show the client a nice design. The design approved this scheme. I designed the masses, the facades and changed the plans based on the new masses.

01. Mutant Architecture. Malaysia. The client asked for a themed IMax and convention hall. This image is one of the trials.
02. International Competition. Dubai, UAE. I joined this competition with one of my friends. We submitted the project on time and our project was shortlisted.

03. Residential Building. Dubai, UAE. I didn’t design the plans. I got the plans from another Architet, I changed a little bit to create this facade. The design of the facade, the 3d model and the rendering were done by me.

UP. Club House. Cairo, Egypt. I designed the schematic design, two proposals, for club house in 6th of October Club. The second proposal was approved and constructed.
DOWN. Convention Center. Riyadh, KSA. Schematic design for a convention center. I designed the scheme and the form. I generated schematic plans, the 3d model and the rendering.

International Competition. Istanbul, Turkey. I have joined this competition alone. The concept is Noah’s Ark. It’s a disaster prevention center in Istanbul. It was shortlisted.
Swimming Pools Compound. Cairo, Egypt. This project has been designed and rendered in 4 days by me. To convince the cliet I finished only the perspectives then after approval the design team finished the plans and all the drawings under my supervision.

The project was approved and constructed.
Melikşah University. Turkey. I designed the facades and reformed the project. The office has submitted 2 proposals but the client didn’t approve both. I worked on the facades and amended the form. Then the client approved the design. I was working with a team leaded by Paşayiğit Sabri bey in Istanbul.

02. Hospital. KL, Malaysia. It’s a one day project. The aim was to convince the client, so I designed the form, finished the 3d model and the rendering.

Qantab Heights. Oman. I designed this project in 2007. It’s a touristic hotel. I did the architecture design and the master planning as well. Also the 3d model and rendering.
Muara Kuantan. Malaysia.
I designed this master plan for a new development in Kuantan, Malaysia. The project consists of retails, business park, marina, residential towers and villas by the lake. Every house has it’s own beach.

Showroom and retails
green build. Jedda, ksa I was Junior Architect, so I joined the team working on this project but my role was not important. However, I have learnt a lot watching them designing. I was doing the 3d models and helping them. I was in the kitchen of the project which gave me a lot of experience.
