The thing about life is that we are all unique but since the dawn of time, many people work in jobs that are just decent paying occupations and do not have happy lives. The reasons often derive from the many pressures society and peers put on us to be a certain version of success. But is it worth it?
It seems unrealistic and unfair. Because anytime you are focusing on tasks that are difficult or displeasing to you, just to please others or to supposedly help you make ends meet, it will make you miserable. But if you're passionate

about something and focus on what you are good at, it will be easier to work in a job and make a living doing it, which is a no-brainer. Doing things that you don’t like just for some shallow social status, to please family members or only to pay bills will not lead you to a fulfilling life. Since childhood, we have been conditioned to do things a certain way things or to reject what we do not understand. We have been trained to place very unreasonable demands on ourselves and on people, to the point where we expect others to be what they don’t want to be. Think about it for a minute. It is not your problem if someone doesn’t get you. It is not your fault if people are stuck in their beliefs and expect you to jump through hoops and hurdles to meet their every demand instead of letting you focus on what really matters to you.
A Helping Clue Truth be told, that it is not your fault if countless people grew up as people pleasers, and that is maybe all they know. The only true way to do great work and to be happy is to love what you do. Do not wander away from creating a better life with the help of your aptitudes, talents or abilities. Since some things do come easier to you, you will often enjoy it more and your existence will change. In this way, it is also easier to become an expert and a leader in a field you are obviously good at. Your clue here should be to resist pressure to accomplish someone else's vision of success. At any moment of your life, you may find that you are good at something and change career path, you may discover something you have been looking for all along. Often the things that make you unique come so naturally, that you don't even think about them until it’s obvious, just like it did for me.
Choosing What to Matters If you are really passionate about some stuff that is very difficult to break into, it might be worth it to give it a go, but always have a backup plan to a related field, just in case. There are countless people out there trying to become a notorious singer, write the next best sellers, or become an actor or actress, or whatever else. If no passion resonate with you, you may be good at certain things, so try to find an interrelated job that uses your abilities and can be of a decent salary. Life is not always about money, but people who earn more don't have to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet or cover inevitable crises.
Don’t settle; go after what you really want.
Knowing what you have great abilities is one thing. Being modest about it is another. If you are particularly good at doing something, tell people, let them know.
Tips to Focus on What You Are Good at Narrow your area of expertise and skills. Don't think or doubt that for a second that what you are good at is not worth it. Accept compliments on what others say you are skillful at and have expertise in. Tell people about your abilities so they know you are open to suggestions.

Let everyone know your expertise, talents and desire to develop. At work, offer to do the tasks that you know you are good at. Don't attempt to be the greatest in everything. Keep an eye open for job opportunities that will help you shine. Don't be influenced by other people’s wants or desires. If you still don’t know what to focus on or what you are good at, close friends, family or others may be able to notice a skill in you that you do not perceive yourself.
