In all of my years, everything I have achieved and experienced in my existence, both in my personal and professional life, has nothing to do with school but with the hard lessons I have gotten in life. So it is quite a privilege and an honor to be able to provide you all with a personal message.

We, as people, live so often our daily life in the fast lane that we barely remember to slow down and celebrate the small things because we are always in such a hurry. Let’s remind ourselves that we live in an amazing world where the sun comes up every day, seasons change, water flows and flowers blossom. When it really comes down to it, we do share related experiences, we spend too much time trying to be like or copying someone else’s version of perfection instead of being fond of our uniqueness such as our own features, life, and yes, difficulties. We should take example on animals all over this world. They live in the present moment and for them the past is gone. We are the only species that worry, even if we can’t do anything about it. Our future is to a certain extent unknown. The only thing we can really do, enjoy or affect is the present moment, the one we are living. “Your mind is your spiritual estate. Protect it and use it with care” – Sergei VanBellinghen Here are 49 more golden lessons that life taught me over the years and I want you to keep them in mind the next time you feel like life is uneasy or difficult:

The Golden Lessons. 1. Live in the moment. 2. Love yourself including the good, the bad and the unpleasant parts. 3. Be a loyal and dependable friend, lover, sibling, partner or parent. 4. Life is not always fair, but it is wonderful. 5. A successful person acts instead of reacting. So if you want to be successful, act. 6. When doubting, go ahead and take the ensuing small step forward. 7. Live by your words. Do what you say you will and own up when you don’t. 8. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. 9. 5 by 5 rule: In 5 years, will it matter? If not, don’t spend more than 5 minutes being upset by it. 10. Don’t take yourself too seriously. No one else will. 11. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. 12. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree at times. 13. Life is not a rehearsal, so make the most of it. 14. Save and invest to create your own retirement. 15. Make peace with your past or it will destroy the present. 16. Give, give and give so you may receive. 17. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what journey they are going through. 18. Everything can change in an instant. 19. Live with an attitude of gratitude, it will bring more positive back into your life. 20. Life is too short, get busy living, or get busy dying. 21. Being productive at your craft is important. 22. Take care your body, it is the only one you will have.

When it comes to going after your dreams or what you love, don’t ever take “no” for an answer. 26. Don’t wait for old age or retirement to live your life. 27. No one is in charge of your life or happiness, only you. 28. Learn to forgive and let go or you won’t grow. 29. What other people think of you is none of your business. 30. Believe in small and big miracles. 31. Whatever does not kill you truly does make you stronger. 32. Your life counts and it is up to you to make it count. 33. “Growing old” beats the alternative of “dying young”. 34. You get only one life. Make it memorable. 35. Always be optimistic and adopt the positive attitude. 36. Get out each day, even for a walk. Miracles are waiting in all places. 37. Surprise with your capacity for goodness and help others. 38. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up. 45. Combine a correct mindset with a great heart, it always wins. 46. Look at the beauty all around you; it will take your breath away. 47. See things with renewed appreciation. 48. The most fulfilling life is one of service and contribution 49. Live happy, laugh a lot and worry less. So just enjoy your life’s journey. Although objectives are great to plan, we often forget that it is the journey that is most important. Enjoy your life, and live your journey with enthusiasm, imagination and happiness of the moment. I hope that you enjoyed my personal message to you all.
