The Benefits of Being Proactive digitalbloggers.com /Yusupov8/the-benefits-of-being-proactive/
Never had one of those days when you wonder “Does life simply happen this way or is it my own choices?” Well, whether you like it or not, or you know it or not, your life is intentionally created by you. The decisions, all things considered, are yours and being proactive becomes a large part of it. I am sure you had mornings where you may have felt like there’s something more profound that you could be a part of? You felt a pull towards something different but you couldn’t exactly understand exactly what—it got away from you and even irritated you. What is it that you love deep down before the world told you to get practical? When I was younger, as an athlete, proactivity kicked in, and as soon as I got an opportunity to do something I would go for it. I would get up at 4 am to get to the racetrack so as to be able to ride horses in the dark before going to school. But as I got older and as real life got the best of my existence, I started to wait in hope for something to change, for something better to come my way or for the right circumstances to line up. Guess what, only you can change all of that, and you could do it in an instant by saying “enough”, “it’s time to do something”, “it is GO time and I am ready”. “If your ship doesn’t come in, swim out to meet it” – Jonathan Winters
