The Single Biggest Myth About Your Desired Outcome digitalbloggers.com /Yusupov8/the-single-biggest-myth-about-your-desired-outcome/ Fake it until you make it (Video) Wait a minute – What is the single biggest myth that could deceive you and pull you away from your desired outcome? I know from experience that we are capable of far more than our doubts will lead us to believe. How do you actually feel? The single biggest myth is that doubt will kill more dreams than failure ever will. You should know that even fake confidence is better than none at all. “Fake it until you make it” is a key factor here. But how much do you want to fake it?

Tricking Your Subconscious A study demonstrated that if you consistently repeat your long term objectives or goals really, it helps you in accomplishing and achieving them. And if day-to-day, you can imagine and visualize yourself at that exact instant of accomplishing your goal, you tend to do your best to realize it. If the confidence you have as you fake it until you make it is unsure, you will lose. You need to realize that the more authentic it feels to you the more your subconscious mind – the key to it all – will do everything in his power to create the opportunities to reach your desired outcome. I am a firm believer in faking it to make it, since I know with certainty that our subconscious doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination. I also know for a fact that all of us do it to a specific degree, and there is nothing bad about it. The unconscious can be deceived, and you can adjust your life on that little hack. Just make sure that you ultimately turn the confidence you are displaying into real actual feelings.

Reaching Your Desired Outcome In any desired outcome, the vital element to faking it is to fake it right from the start. And just as I do, to believe early on that it will come to fruition. Those early impressions set the overall tone by imprinting your mind, so the way to go about it is mindset. There are two kinds of people in life: The first kind goes around with a “fixed mindset” believing that most things like character and intelligence are impossible to be changed, for them avoiding failure is a way of proving that they are skilled and smart. The second kind are people with a “growth mindset” who believe and see failure as a learning curve, a path for growth and therefore welcome challenges, persist against obstacles, learn from constructive criticism, and

achieve higher levels of success. Of which kind are you? To reach your desired outcome you need to have a ‘growth mindset’ instead of ‘fixed mindset’.

Many Failed Before You People like Henry Ford, Leonardo da Vinci, Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison and many others understood and accepted that failing to reach their desired outcome would be a part of success and that not trying again would bring them nothing. The success of your desired outcome depends on your belief in oneself as well as on your aptitude. Taking action boosts your belief in your capacity to be successful. Low self-assurance results in failure to act. So you accumulate confidence through accepting failure. Be careful to not get stuck in the realm of dreams. Be authentic and keep your feet on the ground. What I mean is that by imitating the qualities of successful leaders, you are a work in progress, and it doesn’t make you a fake.

Successful People Keep Going The most successful people failed, but they kept going again and again. And in doing so, these countless popular individuals have emerged from sheer failure to achieve a desired outcome. No one talk about the struggles and hardships they had to get through before success. Albert Einstein was unable to speak until he was 4 years old or was not able to read until the age of 7. Abraham Lincoln failed 8 times to get elected to office before he ended up becoming president. Michael Jordan was unsuccessful in making his high school basketball team before becoming one of the greatest players ever. Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard before becoming a sensation in the computer world. Steve Jobs started from his home garage before being one the biggest creators of his time. Today, with the fast media world at hand, we often only see the dazzling side of success rather than the struggles and hard work it took to arrive there. The people who persist in life are usually the people with better skills and higher test scores in the end.

Set Your Priorities To reach your desired outcome, start in the morning with the most important and toughest thing to do in your day. Commit to it until it’s done. Then move onto smaller things. Commit to do this every single day and you will move forward, and in the right direction.

Focus on an intention and really harness the ‘Fake it to make it’ part. Even if you have to fight your being through different feelings, try to focus on something that actually makes you happy. As a final point, do believe in yourself. Know that you can do it. Trust your subconscious to show you how to reach any desired outcome you have set your mind to, listen to it and act on it, even if it seems ridiculous at times. In the meantime, you need to learn to turn your imaginary confidence into the real deal. All it takes is a little nerve and daily steps towards achievement.
