It shows that most things in life such as work, result, productivity are unevenly distributed because some people or things produce more than others.

Let’s say you are an architect who is creating possible projects for a customer. But your client does not know what kind of house he wants, let alone the color. It would be a no sense to spend the time and create a perfect detailed drawing.

80% is usually good enough. And as you practice your craft, you will increase your expertise and have a precise idea of how much time and effort to apply. Again, know that this is only a rule, not an exact law. At times, you will have to accomplish 100% to take the high quality to excellence.
