Are you feeling like no one cares about what you are trying to accomplish? Are you wondering why no one is paying attention?

I know when things seem unclear or difficult; it can be really easy to give up, especially when you think no one is paying attention to you and you feel like you are all alone. Well, you should know that this is untrue, since someone is always watching, listening, observing from afar, totally motivated or inspired by your every move.

You might not believe me, but remember, we live on a blue planet that circle around a ball of fire next to a moon that moves the seas, and you don’t believe in what I am telling you?

You need to understand that people will not always applaud everything you do, or will not always associate you to caring. Sometime, people are not that eloquent with their words because they don’t know what to say, what to do or how to express themselves.

Making an Unknown Impact Since I started writing professionally, I have been blessed to have people who I would not have expected to have been impacted, in the least, telling me that something I said or wrote touched them, or that they remember something nice that I did.

I am not saying this to toot my own horn; it is just that sometimes I don’t even remember doing some of the things people are talking about. And it usually happens at a time when I am feeling that I do not make an impact, or when for a single minute it feels like I am losing my time, or when I have one of those “why am I even here on this earth” moment.

Impacting by Misinterpretation In my last job, I was closer to some people than others, and I was pretty sure that these people would be the ones to watch and follow what I would create as soon as I was on my own. I was so blind to the truth. Instead, I was reaching the people which I thought were not paying attention; they were the ones watching, observing, reading, liking, admiring, touching and getting impacted.

You see, when you think that no one is paying attention, someone always does! I was happy of course, but shocked, I was touching people I thought didn’t care, and today I realize that they are the first to have ever believed in me from the start.

You just never know. Therefore, do not shrug off any of your interactions as insignificant because your smile, your words or even your deeds might be the only positive thing someone experienced that day. So keep sending good vibes, because the law of attraction states that the pendulum is bound to swing back towards you eventually.

When You Think No One is Paying Attention A few months ago, I had a funny social moment; I looked up a guy I worked with in Los Angeles, around 20 years ago, on Facebook. Now you see, his name is kind of complicated, so I thought I might try, I found an abandoned account with two pictures and a last login in 2015, about a year ago. It was so strange but 24 hours later, he just happened to get on his page to find my “hopeless” message.

I asked “How did you remember me?” He said he had never forgotten me because I was a very good friend and always doing these "things" with energy – it was Chi Kung, Chinese words for "Energy work". He talked all the time with everyone about it and what I could do. My point in this was that if someone can remember the imprint of your positivity 20 years ago, can you imagine how many people you may have and might be influencing in a subtle way right now.

One of my friends even told me that she writes down most things that I tell her as it inspires her. I was like surprised… “You do? Cool”

You Were Born to Shine That being said, I want anyone who is reading this to know that it doesn’t matter what you have gone through in life, it doesn’t matter who you once were, it doesn’t matter that you may be confused about your path, and it doesn’t matter if you think that no one is paying attention, you were born to be on this planet and you were born to shine.

Forget about the past, it is time to focus on the here and now; I myself often obsess about the future, so like you I need a reminder sometimes, to live in the moment, and know that each and every day I am alive. If you focus on bringing value to others, when you are unsure of your path, even when you think no one is paying attention , then you know you are living your purpose.

You MATTER, even if sometime you feel like you don’t. You do. And when you think no one is paying attention, you never know whose life you may be impacting in a positive way. Stay the course. The world needs your influence.

You should be awesome and kind anyway because this world needs more of that. Now, go and live a life of excellence by impacting your future as well as others .
