REDFAB is a collective laboratory to experiment all kind of radical art expressions. It keeps the manufacturing character of the place. REDFAB is situated in a semi-rural and industrial area few miles outside Bologna city. Its immediate context is a greenfield, so the perfect compositional equation was to colour the art space red. REDFAB is the new shelter for urban culture in Bologna, Italy and internationally, which aims to retrofit and reactivate an extraordinary industrial complex through the transformation of the existing spaces and uses. This programmatic adaptation preserves the original frame intact. Only two circulation cores and a metal perforated skin are the main insertions.

MENTAL HEALTH SANATORIUM 2012-2013
Final Thesis Project
Tintern, UK
This assignment was about how the inanimate build world can have such a powerful effect on our imagination and in which way we can orchestrate the relationship between place and emotion, to the benefit of people. The area of deign thesis research was directed into understanding how architecture in relation to the place together with a person can create a powerful place with strong emotional output. The hospital for mentally traumatized people established and applied the common emotional language of architecture poetically as well as pragmatically. The project demonstrated the possibility of architecture to elicit emotional responses from patients and direct it towards their treatment.

LONDON ARCHITECTURE STUDENT FESTIVAL Spring 2010
Nomadic Allotments
London, UK
The assignment was to design a series of small architectural objects out of pallets which were provided as free materials. We were a team of students who had to work on this project from initial stage until completed construction phase under tutor’s supervision. I have been participated in the assembling of individual units for the further usage as urban furniture in Borough market. At the same time this project entered and won a prize under the sustainable category in London festival 2010. The level of responsibility allowed me to learn and understand the construction and sustainable principles in scale 1 to 1 and apply gain knowledge in the further my design projects as useful practical skills.
