Hollywood actor Tom Cruise reportedly demanded that guests be kicked out of a hotel’s restaurant in Montenegro recently, so that he could dine all alone in peace. However, the outraged manager of the restaurant denied his demand. “Who does Mr Cruise think he is? The hotel was full. It would have been unfair to other guests,” says a PTI source.

ost Hollywood stars would just nod and say, “We’d love to,” when asked if they have Bollywood ambitions. But Penélope Cruz seems to have given the prospect a little more thought. “I love the culture and I’d love to do a traditional role in Bollywood,” she claims. And despite her minimal knowledge of Indian cinema, the actor knows she wants Shah Rukh Khan to be her costar. “I’ve seen a few of his films, and I think he’s awesome. I would love to work with him,” she gushes. Penélope’s latest film, To Rome With Love, is releasing today. Her character, Anna, is a prostitute — a “beautiful, peculiar” character, in her own words. It’s also her second film with

acclaimed director Woody Allen, the first being the runaway hit, Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), where her role as Maria Elena fetched her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. It’s also Penélope’s first release after giving birth to son Leonardo. He’s a little over a year old now, but she doesn’t like bringing him onto the sets. “I don’t like the idea of magazines dedicated to celebrities’ kids either. I want to raise him the way I was raised.” What about working with husband, actor Javier Bardem? “We keep our personal and professional lives separate. We don’t plan to work together. But if my marriage has had any effect on my career, it’s a good one. There is so much love, understanding and respect that any one would only flourish.”

While police say that this has been done to allow smooth passage of pilgrims who will visit Mother Mary church during the upcoming Bandra fair, this has upset residents who claim this is only to protect Khan’s residence and keep nosy fans out. They are protesting as they believe this will prove inconvenient to thousands of pilgrims.

The popular WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestler, who was in Delhi on Thursday, has salt-n-pepper hair that come as a surprise when you’ve always seen him fighting wild, swinging those long black tresses that are part of the mask he wears. Back in 2009 however, when he last came to India, he was this clean-shaven, bald guy in formals, hosted by our very own action hero, Akshay Kumar. So why the return of the mask this time, you wonder. “I just wanted to create some interest and fear,” says the American, whose real name is Glenn Thomas Jacobs. And while he has no Bollywood plans even though

he has been part of a few Hollywood films, he recalls his last filmy visit to India fondly. “I am not going to Mumbai this time so I won’t be able to meet Akshay. But the Bollywood thing amazes me. Akshay acts, fights, dances and does everything thing, I mean that’s amazing. Back in the States, no one is doing all of that.”
