Filmmaker Mani Shankar has reportedly convinced WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to act in Shankar’s film based on the Right To Information Act (RTI). “I can’t divulge any details at the moment. But Assange is expected to make a virtual appearance from wherever he is,” Shankar was reported as saying to a tabloid.

Hundreds hop onto city joy pride
Dadas, dadis, kids, dogs — that’s no park sight; they were all there at this year’s Delhi Queer Pride Parade, which painted the town in bright rainbow colours on Sunday. The march, which started at 4.30pm from Barakhamba road and ended at Jantar Mantar late evening, saw over 500 participants shouting slogans and waving flags in support of gay rights, beating the dhol, putting up performances and even sipping beer!

fter denying reports that she moved in with boyfriend Dev Patel into a $1.5mn (R78cr) Santa Monica home, Freida Pinto has finally revealed how the rumours came about. “I was moving a few boxes into my stylist’s house,” said the actor, who is currently promoting her film Trishna at the ongoing International Film Festival of India in Goa. idya Balan sizzled on stage in Gurgaon on Sunday to a houseful audience that had gathered to watch her new seductive style. “I am thoroughly enjoying the various titles being thrown at me but, ‘Bombard Balan’ is the best that I got to hear during my promotional visits. I don’t know how my dad’s going to take that though,” said the 33year-old actor, as she promoted her upcoming flick, The Dirty Picture,
along with co-stars Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor at The Kingdom of Dreams. The actor, who plays South star Silk Smitha in the film, added, “It is the general perception that one is not sexy if she is fat ...
