Nooooo! You can’t be doing this to me! Kis janam ki dushmani nikaal rahe ho?,” shrieked RJ Mannu, horror pasted on his face, when we told him that he’ll have to chuck his regular black patka and wear checkered, abstract and polka turbans for this fashion shoot. As we smooth-talked the popular radio jockey with Fever 104FM into modelling for this shoot at the picturesque Tarini farms in Dera Gaon, fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva helped put together a cool set of outfits, right from chic club wear to crisp pinstripe suits.
We chose turbans with peppy prints, fabrics and on-trend colours that were a far cry from the boring, plain ones that one is used to seeing in Delhi shops.
