Who Those who weren’t there missed one helluva rocking bash. Doubling up the fun people had after downing drinks from the bar, was DJ Iggy who spinned pulsating mixes to help everyone groove. Though Khurmani ke kebab, grilled lobsters with mango and basil marmalade, an elaborate Sushi/Sashimi bar and crab cakes served with sambal sauce were on the menu, dal makhni proved to be the hit. Among those present at the bash were Alka and Mohnish Bali, Payal Rohatgi, Atul Wasan, Pooja Nayyar, Shibani Kashyap and Mandira Wirk with hubby Hardip. — Zabeeh Afaque

t was time for a double celebration as Grover Vineyards marked its twentieth anniversary while French ambassador Jérôme Bonnafont conferred medals of honour on its founder Kanwal Grover (Officier du Merité Agricole) and director Kapil Grover (Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Merité). Wine also got an arty tinge with the launch of Grover Wines’ Art Collection, which has wine labels designed by artists Sanjay Bhattacharya, Jatin Das, Paresh Maity, among others.
