OVERVIEW Many people in today’s wor ld lead bus y li ves. However, a bus y life causes many health problems due to time constraints of a packed schedule. People do not have much time to exercise because they have too much to do and the stresses of work influence our life and health. Obesit y, over work, unhealthy diet, and stress are the consequences of our busy lifestyle. Busy people like office managers, employees, and workers are an audience who share the same experiences. A busy life does not only change human activities and lifestyle but it can also change one’s health and body. Therefore, we hope to change and improve the problems brought on by a busy lifestyle through this program. This easy exercise program will guide people to a more active and healthy lifestyle.

THE NEW PROGRAM The progr am designed to improve busy people’s lifest yle and health. We know people work day and night in Japan, but Japan’s companies are not only concer ned about their employee’s wor k ef ficienc y, but health as well. Therefore, Aflac created a new exercise program to offer busy people some easy exercise during their busy life. Easy motion focuses on busy employees, who can’t fit exercise sessions into their full schedules. The program combines different activities to allow wor ker s to exercise in any env ironment at any time. T his program will help people with busy lifestyles integrate necessar y, yet, convenient exercise routines into their time-stressed schedules.

TURNING A BUSY SCHEDULE TO A FLEXIBLE ONE IS EASY TURN BUSY INTO EASY When life gets too busy, the first thing that gets thrown out the window is exercise. Af ter all, when you have mountains of work to do, the last thing you want to do is exercise. But in truth, the best thing you can do for yourself during times of stress is to find the time to exercise. Even though you might think your schedule is too packed to fit any thing el se in, the truth is that you do have the time to spare, here’s how to find it.

REDEFINE EXERCISE One of the main reasons people fail to execute their exercise plans is that they think of exercise in just one way. They think exercise can only be defined as something that takes hours to complete, and that takes a trip to the gym, or plent y of sweating and pain. E xercise should simply be any thing that promotes activit y like walking or even doing exercises around the of fice. While it’s true that in order to build up your stamina, you will need to work out harder than just a simple walk. A s a star ting point, any movement is better than no movement at all.
SCHEDULING YOUR LIFE Most of us schedule our days and have commitments we must keep. While we think of dentist appointments as unchangeable, we tend to think that exercise is the one thing we can easily move around and eventually skip. Instead of giving up exercise, you need to star t looking at this part of your life as something that’s just as important as a big business meeting or getting your taxes done. To make sure you aren’t skipping out on your exercise; take the time to write it on your calendar; in pen and not pencil, so that your exercise time carries just as much weight as any thing else in your life. This is going to help you create a pattern of good exercise habits. Plan out your exercise sessions at the beginning of each week to ensure you won’t skip another workout.

SMALL BITS ADD UP Many people usually exercise once a day, but you can break up your exercise into smaller routines in order to match your schedule. Instead of a t wo hour cardio cl ass, tr y adding 15 minutes of exercise 3 times a day. You w ill get the recommended 4 5 minutes of a daily ac ti v it y and you won’t miss that time in your schedule. The fun par t of exercise is that once you begin to see result s, you w ill w ant to exercise more. Once you’ve found time in your schedule to wor kout, you might find you can even squeeze more in exercise than you thought w as possible.
MULTI-TASKING WORKS Many people are already accustomed to doing two things at once, usually in the car or sitting at work. In many cases, doing two things at once can lead to not being able to focus. However, multitasking can prove a beneficial technique when it comes to exercise. For example, if you need to meet up with a friend, go for a walk with him instead of going out to eat or walk to your favorite coffee shop. You can use a balance ball for your chair at your desk, helping to engage your core muscles at all times. You might want to workout during your favorite television shows to still keep up with your programs.

POSTERS The Easy motion’s program has a series of posters at bus stations, MUNI stations, and magazines. We would like to appeal to and motivate more employees and busy people through these posters. Our goal with these posters is to remind people tr y to do easy exercises as often as possible. People can also learn that doing easy exercises can be done any time and anyplace. The results will encourage people as well as make them comfor table with exercising.

THE PRODUCT FUNCTION The product function is an interesting way to motivate people to exercise by giving small tips to remind them to be active without taking up too much time. Not only can these tips remind you to be active, they encourage you to relax and stretch out your body as well. The tips compel people to exercise rather than force them. The function only takes a bit of time but the results are great.

EASYWATCH Easy watch is designed to allow people to track the amount of calories burned in one day. You can use this feature to be competitive with your friends and colleagues. Alternatively, you can upload your exercise results and information to our website. This watch can also allow people to check the time, weather, schedule, and share data with their friends on the website. We use three different colors: blue, green, and yellow-orange to identif y our program’s exercise categories. The goal of this product is to motivate you and improve your life and health.
