Oh, Hello there. Since your reading this page, I assume you’d like to know about me.
Art was always an essential part of my life, from a very young age; I used to doodle on anything that I got a hold of. During family outings I used to carry a pen or pencil and surprise the waiter with a napkin full of doodles. People use to pass me off as a shy person due to the fact that I would constantly be facing down drawing, but truthfully I was lost in my own world. Throughout my childhood, I was obsessed about marine life, in fact all my early sketches where doodles of sharks. As time passed, my personality matured and along with it so did my art and techniques, which grew and developed furthermore as I started attending
MCAST Art and Design School. My original goal was to pursue my studies in a Fine Arts specialized course, but I couldn’t envision myself practicing that career for a lifetime. After analyzing all my options and what I really enjoyed doing I came to a conclusion that Graphic Design would be the best career. During this path of decision-making I discovered new forms of art in different workshops, which personally I found it to be an eye-opener towards the way I look at art. I have a better understanding of the different options available, thereby it gives me the possibility of producing different outcomes using different forms of techniques.
My greatest inspiration is Traditional art forms; I tend to incline more towards that line of work rather than producing an entire project on the computer. Illustration and Character Design are my strongest artistic areas, as well as inking in my own distinct style, all of which are handmade and later finished digitally.

A rebellious young chap who causes trouble in his neighborhood, a sneaky and cheeky character. Dennis the menace heavily inspired Jimboe’s persona.
A sweet, candy-hearted character who only appears as a levitating head. The Jellybean God was inspired by the “Aku Aku” mask in the crash Bandicoot game.

Rumors have been circling round that digital publications are out running print; this is how I envisioned the situation, a humoristic one on one battle.
An illustrated metaphor, where the computer headed character represents technology, in the attempt to kill hand made illustration, i.e. the female smoke junky bear.

An English guard shocked to find his funny looking helmet is actually a furry creature who loves to frighten him.
A humorous situation I envisioned, when battling to get my toast out of the toaster. The situations is over exaggerated, which makes it all the more funny.

Experimenting with typography, inspired by the way the beat generation expressed themselves in their literature. For my final outcome I chose to interpret Allen Ginsberg’s Howl poem into a hand made tactile poster, breaking the rules of graphic design.

Voices Heart & Soul Voices live case
Heart and Soul is all about the performer’s letting lose their inner emotions. The logo is composed of an angular cut out which gives the impression of a heart shape, which relates to the initial concept. Illustration was the best art direction, since the theme is an abstract one.
