Mexico City is a mosaic of different realities and beauties.And that’s why I chose this city instead of many cities in the world.

The aim of this project is to design a unique, sustainable and create a natural environment for Amazon office in Mexico City, Mexico, specifically in Santa Fe, because it is one of the centers of greatest economic activity in the city.

Based on this quote, Incorporating natural elements such as: water, natural light, natural views into environments is required because as urbanization has increased, stress rates have also rocketed, so this incorporation helps to make employees feel better and have a positive physiological effect. On the other hand, It also achieves amazon’s goal which depends on “create an environment that prioritises healthy work, celebrates nature and engages the community across multiple scales ” As Amazon said.

Inspired by the shades of green and flexibility of water at Chapultepec Park which is one of the largest urban parks in the world, and the Xochimilco meaning “where the flowers grow,” which is a network of canals weaves through a series of man made islands, contains of trajineras, brightly decorated flat bottom boats, carry passengers through the canals. The main aim of this project is to treat employees like flowers (inspired by the meaning of Xochoimilco), as they are flourishing in the working environment. Add to that, the movement/circulation in the interior space can be described as flexible as water in the canal, where employees can move from one area to another easily and freely surrounded by private and public zones where the with a visual connection between one zone to another so they can gather in a wellbeing space full of energy and great environment and get closer to nature so they can rest their minds and calm their hearts. Canal weaves are implemented as organic lines creating harmony in the interior space by connecting the different zones together. So, those lines and signs on the interior walls are like the Trajineras (decorated flat bottom boats which carry passengers through the canal) leading the employees to different areas and zones.

If life has a color, that color would be called, Mexico City! Because there is color everywhere, and once experienced, they will never fade The challenge in this project will be in incorporating the colors that Mexico City is famous for with its green nature

• The mirrored ceiling is inspired by Farida Kahlo’s self portrait story..

• Book Vending Machine in the middle of the space ( Displays the trending books where the employees can buy them through the digital smart screen which provide a brief about each book digitally before buying it)

• Butterflies in the Bubble Glass attached to the stage/bookshelf (are the implementation of the surprise element which is inspired by Farida Kahlo’s painting )

THROUGHALINEAR TIMELINE FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA

The aim of this project is to take the visitor through a linear timeline journey of Palestine and Palestinian stories where the use of linearity is implemented in the different exhibition halls creating a progression of one concept to another in a logical sequence

The goal of this project is to immerse visitors mentally and emotionally in the stories through the Digital Storytelling techniques in the Museum halls, displays and collections which are all supported by the modern technology and special smart devices for visitors with special needs, deaf, hard of hearing, blind or have low vision in a way that engages them and delivers important messages so they can understand and get the point or the hidden message easily.

DESIGN ELEMENT: TEXTURE, COLOR, VALUEAND LINE.

DESIGN PRINCPLE: HARMONY, UNITYAND EMPHASIS.

Spotlights are used to create areas of overlapping light and shadows. The cone shaped beams pierce through the pitchblack hall, and they fade on and off in response to movement. The cones are inspired by the refugees’camp.

Moreover, videos, sounds, fog and mirrored walls were also added to create the illusion of an infinite and immersive landscape, with the spotlights that is intended to be reminiscent of Al Nakba that began in 1948 present.

The aim of my project is to design a visitor center located in Arad, Bahrain where this site represents a time when pearling was the foremost part of the Kingdom’s economy.

The whole space is like a pearl, precious, rare, protected and not easy define which makes everyone wonder about it.

The specifications of the pearls and the contrast which makes an environment more interesting were represented through the lines, materials, colors and textures.

aim of the project is to design a simple but significant cultural café for our medical staff, frontlines, and our Real Hero’s who spent the last 9 months helping and saving lives during this pandemic.

café is a place where the frontlines can visit in their break time, so they can enjoy their time, finding their souls, rediscovering themselves, feel comfort and feel the good through all the natural elements in the Café.

design was inspired by the resorts (a place for relaxation, rest and tranquility) because “A design inspired nature is timeless.” and it has a power to please, comfort, calm and nature one’s soul. Add to that, “Escaping ordinary.” through the design elements, types of furniture, lighting, environment, technology and services was required to design a special and significant space.

Based on one of the Islamic design principles which is ( Absence رقف,) The aim of my project is to design a minimal relaxation spot located in Avenus Park, Manama, Bahrain.. where people can meditate through walking or playing sport. The absence is represented through the uncomplete structure and the minimal interior itself. The interior space is 3 x 3m.

Inspired by (The Quran Al-Baqarah ةرقبلا: Verse 74) ننإوةماراجحلٱرملهجفتيرنمنهنلۡٱهإواانمقملجقشيهرخيفءنم“املٱ

For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out ”

A huge stone wall were added in one side of the interior space and the thin, split lines on the floor represents the river which comes out from the stone wall.

The glass bench with water flowing through it and the shades that protect people from the sun's rays was inspired by (Quran Al Insan: Verse 13) انيـكتمىهيفكلعنلئارلۡٱاورياهيفلسمشاو“ريرهمز

They will be reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.”

The thin, split lines on the floor, the greenery and the water which flows through the glass bench also represents the gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. ت ننجيدعنرجتاملۡهتحترٱ هن انيدلخ هيف( Ta-ha هط: Verse 13)

The glass itself represents the purity which is the reward of one who purifies himself. ءكلذونازجىم كزت( Ta ha هط: Verse 13)

Based on this quote, and because “Decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves ” The aim of this project is to design a unique solid wood bookcase by using the “Golden Ratio” . It can be placed in a living room, office or a corridor. Moreover, it adds a visual impact, character and instant appeal to the interior space.

Imagine you have a key that opens a door into your mind, How would that look like?

Just like no two people are alike, the inside of each person’s mind varies widely depending on their life experiences and perception of the world.

“Your personality is just an accumulation of memory, past and experiences.”

Because life is a process of accumulations, the goal behind my art installation is to evoke emotion and conversation and to bring light to issues that are important to me as a human being.

The artwork “ Tarakumat “ is an Arabic word for “Accumulations” meaning the gathering and growing together of a thing, or accumulation can describe intangible things which were gathered together, such as emotions, thoughts and situations.

Where the new and the old nails represent the accumulations over the years in my soul. The nail has a sharp edge that indicates the pain and damage to the object it get attached to (which represent my soul) It hurts, but at the same time it gave me strength, stability and solidity. The stacked nails represent the weight of these thoughts and the difficulty of getting them out.

Moreover, the heavy, strong, powerful concrete represent the power of god’s protection, my family and friends support that help me to become the person I am today.
