Min : 4 years Max : 8 years

A four-year engineering technology degree programme designed to produce industrial designers by integrating engineering concepts with arts and flair for visualization. This radical approach allows the product development value chain to start with engineering as opposed to the traditional method where product development always begins with conceptual design. Students will be exposed to the basic and advanced engineering tools such as CAD, CAO and CAE as well as the idea creation through artistic visualization. The final result will be an industrial designer who understands the market opportunity, interprets market requirements, and is well-versed in technology and development processes. Career Path: • Industrial designer • Industrial design engineer • Product designer • Product architect

• Product engineer • CAE specialist • Technopreneur
