It is a combination of studio projects and smaller tasks such as graphic design excercises or models.

31 housing units in the centre of Prague (ongoing project) study of bachelor’s thesis Hlavacek & Cenek studio winter semester 2017-2018 Nove Mesto, Prague, CZ The housing market in Prague is increasingly inaccessible. In Prague’s central district living has long been out of reach for the most people. This project works with a hypothetical situation when city cooperates with a private developer. On the corner of streets Klimentska and Nove Mlyny, there’s a protected veteran tree. On both sides of it, within a viable distance for the tree’s roots, I propose two 7-level buildings. A considerable height for this area that helps to articulate the corner without being built on the corner itself. The house in the south of the area is situated on private ownded plot. The layout is designed more genrously and spatiosly than the layout of the other building that lies on plots
owned by the townhall and therefore is meant to be of social housing standard. On the ground floor I designed a cafe, a commercial store and prehaps a space available for the localy based volunteer fire department. This area is typical by its conflict of various typologies from various historical periods. 19th century blocks of flats, 16th century water supplying tower, gothic church, 1930’s modernist civic buildings, baroque houses. The volume of the two building consideres all of them and tries not to be out of this context. However it also tries to be true to its purpose, which is housing.

Completion and refurbishment of a city block civic building Labus & Sramek Studio winter semester 2016-2017 Karlin, Prague, CZ The plot on the corner of Pernerova and Thamova streets was occupied by a neglected three-storey building that was also one of the oldest in this formerly industrial quarter of Prague. The extension and refurbishment is trying to stay true to its characteristically diverse surroundings both by form and function. There are commercial, administrative and housing units in one building. The building’s smaller sibling on Pernerova street was being treated by the same measures. Narrower and darker extension contributes to contrasting forms of facades in this street. Underneath the inner courtyard are two storeys of garages designed with Prague’s building regulations in mind.

100-flats unit in new housing and administrative estate housing Kratky & Marques Studio winter semester 2015-2016 Jinonice, Prague, CZ In the area of newly developing project combining housing and offices named Waltrovka after the former factory that was almost completely removed, finding new forms and appearances was a challenging prospect. The study of this rather largescale building combines more generously proportioned flats and more social housing oriented living in the wings of the building. The large volume and long facades are disrupted by balconies and common terraces with open corridors and staircases. The project features undergroung garages and commercial space on the ground floor.
A new form of barbican on historical site free-form space modelling Kordovsky Initial Studio winter semester 2014-2015 Vysehrad, Prague, CZ There was a rectangular block set by the head architect. My task was to carve it and position it and give purpose. Vysehrad is a mythical place instrumental in early Bohemian history and mythology. Placing a temporary structure on the cliff from where the mythical horse Semik lept to the opposite bank of river Vltava could give an all new perspective with unique observing experience. The structure freely uses shapes inspired by towers, barbicans, battlemens and loopholes with a purpose of observing beauties of Vltava river valley.
Architectural mask as an imperfect hideout free-form space modelling Kordovsky Initial Studio winter semester 2014-2015 Inspired by an excercise performed at Bauhaus we were given a task of creating our own masks. The only spatial requirement was that it had to exceed 60 centimeters in lenght. It was also meant to reflect author’s personality and views. I went for creating an imperfect box with holes made of floppy plastic in achieving goals of this excercise. The model was submitted along with IKEA inspired informative assembly guide. Regular spacing of the grid of holes is only changed in facial area where the holes are gradiently larger to provide better visibility.
Logo and derived patterns and ornaments graphic design VT4 Melenova winter semester 2015-2016 By placing and cropping my initials into geometrical shapes I reached what appears to be a random collection of lines. Rotating, multiplying and filling polygons with colour created a series of patterns I used as a cover of this leaflet.
