Recognizing the consequences of cultural changes which occurred in the last several years, it is not the first time that we have raised the subject of exact sciences in the ‘Refleksje’. The assumption of this issue of our magazine is: the more technologically advanced the society is, the better school it needs. Teaching mathematics, physics, chemistry and other related disciplines should, according to our authors, be one of the priorities of modern education. How to take it effectively? Increasing the number of lessons of exact sciences is one of the most common ideas, but there are also other, perhaps more effective ways: motivating students to learn through experiences, field classes, or active methods of teaching.
