How do we perceive openness in terms of school work? How much the openness of school influences the development of knowledge, skills and social competence of students? Where are the limits of openness in education? These are some of the questions which our authors are trying to answer in this issue of ‘Refleksje’. Our good examples include a variety of educational activities that open school to the new knowledge, contacts and inspiration, both in the local and global perspective. It is worth learning from that experience. Perhaps it will inspire you to create an ‘open school’, which nowadays is an indispensable element of social environment.
