In this issue of “Refleksje” – entitled The Culture of Education – we go back to some of Ken
Robinson’s theses since this is what the ever-changing reality challenges us to do. We
should be constantly asking important questions: does the school have to adjust to the
modern world, or maybe should the modern world, even if it races ahead, take into account
the needs of school? What do our students need from us and how can we provide
them with the best possible education? How to adjust the educational system to the current
state of the art and scientific research, which tackles educational neuroscience on the
one hand and on the other – culture and its transformations?
