The idea behind this issue of "Refleksje" has come from the belief that a multitude
of theories in all areas of knowledge is a characteristic feature of late
modernity. Making even the simplest of choices, as well as taking the most
difficult decisions, we appeal to the rich theoretical base: ideas, analyses or
conclusions formulated by both our predecessors and contemporary thinkers.
Our situation is, in a sense, comfortable: we have the right to indicate these theories that are interesting, important and inspiring for us.Hence, we are taking a closer look at various reflexes cast by the title theories of education.
