Vehicle Integration Steering Wheel Control Buttons The Alpine systems are connected to your steering wheel control buttons. This means you do not lose this convenient feature when upgrading to Alpine and you will have full control over volume, phone, audio track for ward/backward and many other commands. You can even activate Siri and Ok Google right from your steering wheel.
Driver Information Display The small display in the instrument cluster is also connected to the Alpine system and can display radio station names, song titles and artist information, caller names, navigation turn-by-turn arrows and much more (except digital compass and phonebook).
Rear View Camera and Parking Sensors If your car is equipped with original parking sensor s and rever sing c amer a, you c an continue using these convenient features when upgrading to Alpine. The parking sensor system is connected to your Alpine screen, showing a useful distance guide and providing proximity sounds with automatic mute of the music when parking your car.
Compatible with Dynaudio Sound System The Alpine Style systems are compatible with the Dynaudio sound system. All you need is the APF- H10 0 DY inter face that allows connection of your Alpine unit to the vehicle’s MOST data-bus and you are ready to enjoy an audiophile sound experience. Note: the Fader func tion is disabled for technical reasons.
Vehicle System Setup The Alpine systems are fully compatible with the Golf 7’s electronic systems and can therefore display all menus and warnings (except original traffic sign recognition system).

iGo Primo Nextgen Navigation The below navigation features apply only for X902D-G7 (and X902D-G6 for Golf 6).
High Resolution Touch Screen Use the vir tual keyboard to input destination addresses and operate all navigation settings. You can input postal codes for all European countries, which makes searching for addresses quicker. The system even reads partial addresses and you can select your own language from 33 different keyboards.
3D Maps View maps in 3D with detailed buildings and landmar ks. This feature helps you to bet ter orientate yourself in large cities. Speed restriction display and speed camera warnings (not available for all EU countries) give you fur ther driving assistance.
Lane Guidance / TMC Route Guidance Lane Guidance lets the driver know which is the best lane to be in, while Dynamic TMC Route Guidance provides live traf fic information for avoiding traffic jams and recalculates the route if necessary.
One Look Display Alpine’s innovative "One Look" split-screen technology allows you to view the navigation map and audio playback information at one glance. This eliminates the need to switch bet ween different applications. You can switch from full screen to One Look view with just a swipe on the display.

Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto feature good navigation apps that can be displayed and controlled on the Alpine 9-inch display. This is especially interesting for drivers that need navigation only occasionally and can go without advanced functions such as Highway Mode and others. When using these navigation apps internationally outside your country, please note that data roaming costs will occur.
Updates can be purchased by country and by region. This saves cost by updating only what is necessary.
Maps : Apple CarPlay When you’re driving, Maps helps you find the way to your destination with turn-by-turn spoken directions and new, easier-to-read visuals. When a turn is coming up, the view zooms in to show you exactly where to go. Along the way, large signs and arrows guide you in the right direction and let you know how long it’s going to take to get there. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or coffee shop along your route? Google Maps : Android Auto You can use navigation in the Google Maps app to get turn-by-turn directions to places easily. Maps will show you directions and uses real-time traffic information to find the best route to your destination. With voice navigation, you’ll hear traffic alerts, where to turn, which lane to use, and if there's a better route. If you're going where the Internet is slow, mobile data is expensive, or you can't get online, you can save an area from Google Maps to your phone or tablet and use it when you're offline.

This subwoofer system is designed to fit right into the spare wheel compartment of a Volkswagen Golf 5, 6 and 7, Scirocco, Polo and many other cars with a standard spare wheel compartment. The subwoofer comes pre-installed in a sealed enclosure and includes a compact amplifier and wiring kit.
The Alpine Style systems are compatible with the Dynaudio sound system. All you need is the KWEDY01G6 interface that allows connection of your Alpine unit to the Dynaudio amplifier.
The Alpine St yle systems for Golf 6 and 7 are compatible with FL AC Hi-Res Audio (24/96 and 24/192). You can also enjoy Spotify with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for online music.
