At the heart of that shape lies the main swimming pool and the diving swimming pool. Then everything else surrounds them. The form was then broken with two ax is's that would then create some move ment within the building’s volume.
CONCEPT & LAYOUT
The axis’s were then used to drive the fo cus into the entranc es defining the flow of the circulation within the building.
The main concept of the design was to represent the flow of a swimming fish throughout the site length. The swim ming pool is located in the heart of this fish as it’s the focal point in the building.
To break the rigidity of the volume more and create some move ment to the building, the sides of the build ing were treated with a different elements.
