Where are our Rainforests?! A Story of our disappearing rainforests

Little T lives happily in a place, where he have lots of tree friends and plenty rain to drink, he called this place

Rainforest.

He also have a lot of animal friends who live together in the rainforest with him. Their life was comfortable and happy,

Until one day...

Big trucks and humans came in the forest, started their massive

Destruction!

Men used big saws to cut down Little T’s tree friends, it was terrible!

Then they were

out of the forest, transporting into the factories to make paper and other wooden products.

Other trees were either being cleared to build roads and farm lands or being burned or cut to construct cities or buildings as human’s

Human also used rainforests to expand their agriculture space, mining and cultivating livestock.


Within few months, Little T’s rainforest was almost destroyed, only a few trees were survived, and many animals were also gone or move away. Now no one but human loves this damaged forest.

Not only Little T’s forest was destroyed by human, over the entire world, many other rainforests in different continents were also being damaged. Rainforests are

Human have to pay for this!

Little T was furious! After seeing so many of his tree friends and animals died or moved away, and his lovely home, rainforest was destroyed by human; he believed that human have to pay what they have done.

Lack of trees caused soil to become unstable, they were arid have no nutrients. Wind and rain carried them away and resulted in

After trees were cut down, there is no more water stored underground, it then caused bad effects on water cycle and water flow, and created droughts, fires and floods.

Global Warming Less trees are present on Earth to absorb Greenhouse gases like CO2, it speed up the process of global warming.

Loss of Rainforest Resources Massive clear of rainforests made human lost precious resources such as timber, nuts, rubber, and herbal plants which can be used in medicines.


Loss of Biodiversity 80%-90% of world animal species live in the rainforests, the destruction of forests made them lost home and food, pushing them to extinction.

After suffering from the disasters caused by deforestation, human finally understand they were wrong, and now they are trying to find ways to save Little T and his rainforest.

Reforestation

We have plant and we are still planting, trying to rebuild our forests, as well as telling everyone to protect trees and plants. Throughout the recent years, we have recovered a lot of forests that have been destroyed!

Recycle, Reuse!

In order to save our precious forest and trees, we are going to reuse and recycle every paper products, save water and electricity.


Government control Our Governments are trying to limit the logging and rainforest clearing activities, set laws to protect rainforests, as well as planning programs to rebuild the forest and save the resources.

However, Our solutions will not be 100% efficient and success, because of illegal loggers and some poor people who get in the forest and build houses by themselves are still damaging forests. They don’t listen to us!

And some companies also insist to develop and take resources endlessly from rainforests. Because they want to make money and get profits.
