He has known our regular guests for a long time and is no stranger to the Weinegg, having grown up here with us and having worked his way up over the years from Commis to Chef de Rang and then to the position of Vice-Maître through hard work, commitment and enjoyment. Now, as a junior assistant, he is part of the management team and supports our chief Erika, our chief Bruno in word and deed. His cheerfulness, his expertise, his quick perception skills and his love of contact with our dear guests characterise him. He also takes care of quality control, the optimisation of processes and staff management.

Maximilian not only holds a degree in International Management but also brings valuable practical experience from his previous role as a receptionist at Weinegg. His communicative and cheerful nature makes him a valued contact person, both within the team and among our guests. Direct interaction with people is particularly important to him: he strives to provide every guest with an unforgettable experience and to uphold our high standards with heart and passion. Sustainability is not a cult for us: It is a matter close to our hearts and a long-term process. Saving (plastic) waste, low-emission production, processing renewable raw materials. The direction with its team of area managers is always striving to develop further, to dare new things and to think and plan with an eye to the future. Of course, we have also planned innovations for 2025. Exciting initiatives regarding the CO2 footprint will be started in order to further develop the entire operating process in a sustainable manner.

Social engagement
The economic, ecological, and social future of our region is very important to us. We are dedicated to actively contributing in a number of ways. We invest in South Tyrol’s young generation by providing internships, hiring and training trainees – through events, talks, or guided tours –, working closely with the local hotel management schools, sponsoring specialist graduation balls, and providing other economic, organisational, and educational measures. We support the FC Südtirol football team and its youth teams, the Weinwelt Girlan cultural association, the local tourist office, South Tyrol’s tourism development, as well as many organisations, associations, and clubs in the fields of culture, sport, civil protection, and youth support. That’s our contribution to the region for its preservation, continuity, and development, and to supporting youth and social organisations.

PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM
Our new photovoltaic system by the renowned brand „Longi Solar“ produces environmentally friendly energy with an impressive output of approxrimately 160 kilowatt-peak (kWp) With this performance, we produce over 150 megawatts per year, which is enough to generate sufficient electricity to cover the annual consumption of more than 60 households. With our in-house CHP (Combined Heat and Power) plant, we also produce green electricity, totaling 120,000 kWh. This corresponds to the annual electricity needs of around 40 households. A green roof is not only beautiful to look at, it also contributes to a healthier climate and provides an undisturbed habitat for insects and bees. Technically, it fulfills the tasks of thermal insulation in winter or cooling in summer, achieving significant energy savings in heating or cooling. In addition, it reduces electrosmog and thus creates the best conditions for healthy sleep in our suites.

The feast continues at the afternoon buffet, where everything is worth sinning for - not least the apple strudeland culminates in glory at the dinner table, in a heavenly enticement of the finest creams and fruity sorbets. We have the pleasure to introduce you to our very own handcrafted beer. The „Mendelbier“, named after the Mendel mountain. Quality has been an important aspect from the very beginning, which is why our own beer is brewed at the Tenuta Moser in accordance with the rules of the art: by hand, without filtering or pasteurizing it. The Mendelbier, brewed with fresh water from the Mendel mountain, is served turbid and freshly tapped from the tank. In this way we maintain its unmistakable taste. A curiosity? Our Tenuta Moser is the only estate in all of Italy to house a winery and a brewery under one roof.

At the Moser estate, we press the countless apple varieties of Südtirol I Alto Adige into our very own apple juice. At the bar and at your table. Wherever you are in our hotel, you will find the heavenly taste of gold in a glass.
For decades now the Moser Family has been working our farm at Monticolo Lake and in Caldaro sulla Strada del Vino with the greatest of love and passion. Our family began to grow and cultivate grapevines in the Oltradige area three generations ago; in days gone by, the family’s grapes were delivered to the surrounding wineries for pressing. In 2019, with the Tenuta Moser, our winery in Caldaro, a dream has come true: We opened our very own wine cellar with storage room and pressing room, where we can now vinify and bottle our own grapes.

The centrepiece of the Messner Mountain Museums, MMM Firmian at Sigmundskron Castle, illustrates the relationship between man and the mountains. These ancient walls at Sigmundskron Castle, complemented by a contemporary steel and glass structure, are the heart of the entire museum concept. The museum houses pictures, sculptures, symbolic artefacts and relics which convey the true meaning of the relationship between man and the mountains. MMM Firmian is a unique place with incredible views, both inside and out. The museum and castle grounds are open from the third Sunday in March through to the second Sunday in November. PRICES Prices are in euro, quoted per person per day, based on two fullpaying guests per room and include our ¾ pleasure board. A discount of 20.00 euro is applied for bed & breakfast only bookings. To keep the website as well as our journal as clear as possible, we listed our prices for stays of 7 nights. The daily rate offered to you could vary as we rate our prices according to the season, the length of your stay (1-3 days, 4-6 days and 7 days and more)and the request. The local tax of 3.00 euro per day is charged separately for all guests aged 14 and over. The actual layout of rooms and suites may differ slightly from the images shown.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY In order to guarantee you and your family the full comfort of our suites, the number of guests should not exceed the number of beds or sofa beds of a suite. Thus, it is not possible to put provisional extra beds in our suites. We hope for your understanding.

One of our main goals is to make your booking, as well as your stay, as easy and uncomplicated as possible. In order to do this, we have put together a few booking guidelines.
BOOKING Yn general, your booking has firm validity through three components: through the receipt of your written reservation, our booking confirmation and your subsequent reconfirmation. Through this last step you validate the receipt of our booking confirmation. Therefore, we need no deposit or credit card details. Of course, you can pay a part of the total amount in advance, by transferring the sum on our bank account.
CANCELLATIONS are an unpleasant subject for you as a guest and for us as hosts. Of course we understand that something can happen to anyone, but you will also understand that it is a pity for us if rooms remain empty when other guests would have liked to have booked.
GIFT VOUCHER
If it is not possible for you to realize your Weinegg holiday, a free cancellation or postponement of your stay is possible if the written cancellation is made up to 7 days before the agreed arrival date. For cancellations between the 6th day and 1 day before the planned arrival, we charge 30% of the confirmed booking value. If the cancellation is made on the day of arrival or not at all, the cancellation fee is 80% of the confirmed room rate. In case of a later arrival or an earlier departure notified after the free cancellation period, we will charge 50% of the confirmed price of the stay.
OUR RECOMMENDATION In order to avoid possible inconveniences, we recommend you to conclude a travel cancellation insurance, e.g. with our partner „Europäische Reiserversicherung“. You will find more information about this on our homepage or you can also contact our reception team by email or telephone.
WEINEGG‘S FAIRNESS OFFER If we are able to re-sell your booked and cancelled room after the period of chargefree cancellation, you will only be charged for the actual incurred deficit.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY BOOKINGS A minimum stay of 5 nights is required for Easter, Ascension, Corpus Christi, Pentecost, Ascension Day, the Day of German Unity, All Saints Day, Christmas and New Year‘s Eve. In case of abbreviation of your holiday in this periods to less than 5 nights, we calculate 50% of the originally booked days.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Your room will be ready from 2 pm on your day of arrival. On your day of departure, please vacate your room by 12 pm. If you request a specific room number, we will try our best to satisfy your request. However, we cannot guarantee availability.
