What’s on

Sanctuary by Art Pop-Up is a community creative adventure with artist Emily Bowers this summer as she explores Deeping Lakes. In July Emily will investigate the nature reserve, talking with local groups about their relationship with the space and learning about the millions of plants and animals it’s home to, its fascinating history and why it’s precious to so many people. In August we’d like to invite you to join us for some free, fun, creative workshops, walks and talks. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved, so please join in as we share the stories and celebrate this very special place! As the project unfolds you can find more details on artpopup.co.uk and for updates follow us on Facebook @ArtPopUpUK. A big thank you to Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust for hosting us, as well as the South Kesteven Community Fund, DSJ United Charities, the Lions, the Rotary, and the Youth Club, for making this happen. The thrill of the Stamford Shakespeare Company’s summer season at Tolethorpe is even more picqued this year folllowing the decision to postpone the season last year. With perrenial favourites ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ and ‘Love’s Labour’s Lost’ in the programme there is much for the theatre goer to look forward to. This year the award winning comedy inspired by Hamlet ‘Humble Boy’ will feature. Set in the 1990’s this play explores the tensions in family life with an hilarious unravelling of family secrets.Tickets £11 - £19 Box office: 01780 756133 Online booking: www.stamfordshakespeare.co.uk
