Entry to all events and activities are either free or half price with The Auckland Project Annual Pass, which can be purchased online in advance. The Annual Pass costs just £25 for adults, with family passes available from £37.50, and provides unlimited entry to Auckland Castle and Gardens, the Spanish Gallery, the Mining Art Gallery and the Faith Museum, opening in autumn 2023.

The Auckland Project have developed new Forest School sessions for Early Years and Primary School children, along with two exciting Filmmaking Summer Schools for children aged 11-16.
Bishop Auckland is quickly developing a reputation for high quality art thanks to the Spanish Gallery, which hosted Dalí’s masterpiece Christ of St John of the Cross last summer, the Mining Art Gallery and the Bishop Trevor Gallery in Auckland Castle. The latest exhibition in Auckland Castle, Sin: The Art of Transgression, is a touring exhibition organised by the National Gallery and includes eight exceptional paintings from the National Gallery collection, as well as two contemporary works of art on loan from Tracey Emin
