Veronica Peña è un'artista interdisciplinare e curatrice indipendente spagnola, attualmente residente negli Stati Uniti. Il suo lavoro esplora l'assenza, la separazione e la ricerca dell'armonia attraverso la performance art, ed è interessata alla politica sull'immigrazione, al dialogo interculturale e all'emancipazione delle donne.

Il suo lavoro è stato presentato a Times Square, Armory Show, NYU Hemispheric Institute, Queens Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Grace Exhibition Space, Triskelion Arts, Defibrillator Gallery of Performing Arts, Momenta Art Gallery, Gabarron Foundation, Dumbo Arts Festival e lo spagnolo Consolato Generale a New York e in altri luoghi.

Performance continua di Veronica Peña, che immerge tutto il suo corpo in una "sostanza" liquida che gradualmente si rapprende. Quando la "materia" si addensa, l'artista è imprigionato nella più bella quiete: fragile come una persona nel grembo materno - incapace di muoversi, parlare, vedere e nuocere agli altri. Parla dell'essere imprigionati nell '"entità", della crescita personale, del potere del corpo femminile, dei corpi degli immigrati che sfidano la distanza e la separazione, e dei vivi alla ricerca di un sé assente. La quiete è la ricerca dell'armonia, un atto di resistenza contro la violenza, la paura e l'ingiustizia. L '"entità" è sconosciuta, vaga tra qui e là, passato e presente.

Un Aglianico del Beneventano, “Atto Primo” della Tenuta Sant’Agostino, per “bagnare” l’inaugurazione della nuova agenzia Engel & Völkers a Napoli, gestita dalla D.ssa Barbara Terracciano, nelle splendide stanze di Villa Doria d’Angri, una delle più importanti ville neoclassiche di Napoli,realizzataconsfarzo,percelebrarelagrandezzadel principe Doria d’Angri imparentato con la nobile e storica famiglia di origini genovesi. A Villa Doria d’Angri fu ospite anche Wagner che vi compose il Parsifal.

E il fil rouge dell’inaugurazione sarà EnoArte® dell’Artista fiorentina Elisabetta Rogai, la tecnica di dipingere live con il vino al posto dei colori. Una performance live davanti a tanta bellezza della città che sembra sospesa nel tempo, l’artista effettua un passo indietro, quando i colori erano preparati nelle botteghe rinascimentali con tecniche naturali, scegliere un vino che diventa colore la ricongiunge a quel mondo che ha fatto la storia dell’arte, evitando dunque un colore industriale, ma usando un nettare destinato ad essere bevuto, e considerandolo come un fissante per essere osservato e ammirato.

ENRICO ROVELLI, 78 anni, storico manager e imprenditore musicale, fondatore di importanti club e figura chiave dell’iniziale percorso artistico di grandi cantautori come Vasco Rossi e Pino Daniele, esordisce come artista con la sua prima mostra personale, “MILLE VOLTI”; dal 13 al 27 gennaio, infatti, alla GALLERIA D’ARTE CAEL di Milano (via Carlo Tenca, 11) saranno esposti circa 20 tra dipinti, sculture e bassorilievi realizzati a partire dal 2011.

L’inaugurazione della mostra si terrà il 13 gennaio alle ore 19.00, alla presenza dell’artista (ingresso libero).

Enrico Rovelli, icona della musica live in Italia, con questa mostra a Milano condivide le sue opere per la prima volta, nonostante negli anni si sia sempre occupato non solo della parte manageriale ma anche della parte grafica e delle scenografie dei numerosissimi concerti che ha prodotto, facendo sempre intravvedere la sua passione per l’arte.

È stato lo storico promoter di Vasco Rossi, per il quale ha curato oltre 500 concerti, compreso il primo live allo stadio di San Siro (1990). Con le sue società si è occupato anche di Pino Daniele, Patty Pravo, Antonello Venditti, Adriano Celentano, Renato Zero, Claudio Baglioni, Marco Masini, Fabio Concato, Fabrizio Moro, Anna Oxa e tanti altri.

È noto in quanto fondatore di Radio Music 100, poi diventata Radio DeeJay, fondatore e gestore di locali quali La Carta Vetrata di Bollate (dove suonarono e si formarono molti gruppi tra i quali spicca la PFM) e, a Milano, di Rolling Stone, City Square (diventato poi Propaganda) e Alcatraz (affermatisi velocemente come punti di riferimento della vita notturna milanese), nonché organizzatore in Italia di numerosissimi concerti di artisti internazionali del calibro di Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Queen, The Police, The Clash, U2, Frank Zappa, David Bowie e tantissimi altri.

La passione per l’arte accompagna Enrico Rovelli sin da bambino. Si diploma ai corsi serali della Scuola Superiore d’Arte al Castello Sforzesco di Milano mentre durante il giorno frequenta la Scenografia Sormani.

Presso il laboratorio dell’architetto Scarpini conosce il pittore Milani che gli insegna a lavorare l’oro zecchino e argento in foglia oro su vetro che rimarranno una costante della sua produzione. Nel tempo Rovelli abbandona il vetro e comincia a lavorare su diversi tipi di supporti, in particolare su grandi tele che costruisce personalmente. Colpito dall’opera dell’artista Alberto Burri inizia a sentire la necessità di creare quadri in cui risulta evidente la volontà di mostrare la funzione espressiva della materia utilizzando acrilico, olio e nitro con tela iuta e fil di ferro. Da qui in avanti la sua propensione alla sperimentazione diventa un punto saldo della sua produzione in cui scale di grigi, bianco, neroe,talvolta,ilrossocongliimmancabilioroeargento creano suggestive tele astratte composte da strisce, linee e superfici di colore che diventano rilievi.

Questa attività viene interrotta quando l’impegno in campo musicale diventa a tutti gli effetti la sua occupazione principale anche se continua a curare personalmente le grafiche dei manifesti e alcune scenografie dei concerti di cui si occupa.

Dal 2011 Rovelli sente di nuovo il bisogno di trasmettere il suo sentire attraverso la pittura. I primi due quadri che dipinge sono dedicati al figlio scomparso qualche tempo prima.

Lo studio e l’utilizzo scrupoloso di materiali vecchi e nuovi testimoniano che Rovelli continua la sua ricerca di una dimensione concreta, corporea e tangibile dell’opera attraverso un lungo processo di creazione

All’acrilico,all’olioe alnitro siaggiungeanche l’utilizzo massiccio delle resine e vernici Awl Grip.

Nei quadri, spesso di grandi dimensioni, troviamo anche legni, cortecce, tele di sacco, carte incollate e stratificate, spessori: linee e aree di colore, colate di resine e sottili tracciati grafici simili ad elettrocardiogrammi(che per Enrico sono un omaggio al padre la cui calligrafia era simile a questa sorta di grafismo) sono un tratto distintivo della produzione di questi anni.

Abbiamo cercato – dichiara Alice Sansebastiano - di andare a ricreare il pensiero e il tormento che un amore può dare all'anima e ovviamente alla persona nella sua interezza. Si è voluto evidenziare anche il senso di rinascita e di forza che ognuno di noi ha.... il voler continuare e andare avanti comunque”. Tema del singolo è sempre l’amore… l’amore che volendo o non volendo pervade la nostra vita, la segna e la distrugge. Ma a volte anche la salva. Come diceva un film molto famoso il cuore di una donna è un profondo oceano e Alice ha cercato di tirar fuori ansie e paure attraverso questo brano. Il singolo è un banco di prova per la brava interprete, infatti Alice per la prima volta la si vede impegnata nella stesura del testo, un testo che riesce a coinvolgerti, a trascinarti, a inglobarti nel suo mondo, nel suo stato d’animo e a porta l’ascoltatore a immedesimarsi in ciò che esprime attraverso le parole e la musica, parole che toccano direttamente la sensibilità delle persone.

Firenze. Si è svolta una cena di gala all’interno della splendida Villa Viviani a Firenze, organizzata dall’Associazione Lions Pitti presieduta da Paolo Simoncini, per presentare un interessante progetto, una strategia innovativa contro il morbo diParkinson, nella qualesi prevede un percorsopersonalizzato di pugilato senza contatto durante il quale il paziente viene sottoposto a sedute di movimento aerobico – per cui senza fatica – chehailvantaggiodistimolareanchelaneuroplasticità, come dimostrato recentemente dagli studi sulle malattie neurodegenerative.

Una toccante testimonianza è fornita da un paziente affetto da Parkinson, Giorgio Andalò, che segue i corsi e ne trae beneficio, che ha raccontato con quanto entusiasmo si misura con gli esercizi, segue gli esempi dei maestri, in pratica si cura....divertendosi.

Il Parkinson è una malattia neurodegenerativa, ad evoluzione lenta ma progressiva, che coinvolge principalmente le funzioni del controllo dei movimenti e dell'equilibrio. La malattia fa parte ed è la più frequente del gruppo di patologie definite "Disordini del Movimento". I sintomi del Parkinson sono forse noti da migliaia di anni: una prima descrizione sarebbe stata trovata in uno scritto di medicina indiana databile intorno al 5.000 A.C. ed un'altra in un documento cinese risalente a 2.500 anni fa. Il nome è legato però a James Parkinson, un farmacista chirurgo londinese del XIX secolo, che per primo descrisse gran parte dei sintomi della malattia nel libretto intitolato il "Trattato sulla paralisi agitante".

La Pugilistica San Giovanni mette KO il Parkinson

La “boxe senza contatto” come nuova metodica riabilitativa che fa emergere l'importanza di misurare l'efficacia della riabilitazione per il Parkinson anche a distanza.Infatti,sotto lasupervisionedelmaestro Davide Recati viene praticata due volte la settimana alla Pugilistica San Giovanni un’attività motoria dedicata a persone affette da Parkinson che, con i necessari adattamenti, ricorda l’allenamento di un pugile.

Pugili che, dopo aver seguito uno stage di preparazione, entrano a pieno titolo nel Team della Pugilistica San Giovanni, presieduta da Gerardo Burchi, nella quale, grazie alla strategia innovativa importata dagli States, si allenano e si curano i malati di Parkinson.

“Come riporta il recente studio dell’Università di Indianapolis, pubblicato su Physical Therapy, unaginnasticaspecificamiglioralaqualitàdivita di pazienti affetti dal morbo di Parkinson anche di grado medio-grave. L’attività fisica di una certa intensità aiuta a rallentare la progressione della malattia” spiega Gerardo Burchi Presidente della Pugilistica San Giovanni.

“L'esercizio fisico è sempre di più riconosciuto come un'importante terapia complementare nella gestione della malattia di Parkinson. Grazie ad una mirata ginnastica che in qualche modo si richiama all’allenamento del pugilato (sport tra i più completi), si sviluppano la coordinazione dei movimenti, soprattutto tra braccia e gambe, e l’armonia muscolare. È una disciplina utile per il miglioramento di certe qualità che spesso si perdono sia per l’età che, appunto, in occasione di malattie neurodegenerative Servono due sedute settimanali per almeno due mesi per vedere i primi risultati, come spiega l’Avvocato Lapo Bartalucci legale e componente del CDA dell’Associazione Il rallentamento della malattia rende la vita quotidiana più agevole: i pazienti sono in grado di muoversi e camminare in modo migliore, con più equilibrio. La stampa ha iniziato a seguire questa nuovissima disciplina e, come Pugilistica, ci attiveremo per coinvolgere altre città.

E anche dal punto di vista psicologico si hanno dei miglioramenti” spiega ancora Bartalucci “Il paziente si allena divertendosi: gli esercizi diventano quasi un gioco e durante la lezione il paziente quasi si dimentica la malattia, sentendosi inserito in una palestra frequentata da tanti atleti”.

Pronti i preparativi degli asset del team della Tecnosport Rally con ben dieci equipaggi alla Dakar Classic 2023, la categoria vintage con auto storiche giunta alla sua 3° edizione Un grande ritorno dopo la partecipazione dello scorso anno.

In prima linea, le favolose Nissan Terrano I di Clerici-Colombo e Cavozza-Furlotti, plurivittoriose nelle categorie veicoli migliorati, di serie nelle Dakar degli anni '90 e il potente Nissan Terrano II, pilotato da Garosci-Briani, PioliniMajno e Deutschler-Spriano A tenere caldo l'asset del team, c'è poi il mitico Mercedes Classe GE 560 V8 di Pozzi e Denti, grande performer con Clay Regazzoni e Klaus Seppi nelle Dakar di fine anni '80. L'equipaggio Valentina Casella - Monica Buonamano su Nissan Pathfinder è estremamente determinato, punta infatti al podio della categoria femminile. La tempra delle due sportive sarà messa a dura prova dalle difficoltà del terreno e dalla lunghezza della competizione.

Livello altissimo dei concorrenti e si alza l'asticella anche per le prove. 465 veicoli e 54 nazionalità per la coast to coast più attesa dell'anno. Più ostacoli lungo le tappe dettati dalle prove tra le dune che metteranno a dura prova anche i naviganti più esperti. Il segreto per tagliare il traguardo a Dammam? Trovare il giusto ritmo con il minor numero di errori possibili affidandosi completamente al roadbook, mappa digitale fornita dall'organizzazione nella strumentazione di bordo.

Il nostro obiettivo” dichiara Maurizio Traglio, patron di Tenosport Rally è portarli tutti alla fine della competizione, garache hadasemprelecaratteristichepiù impegnative nel panorama dei grandi raid. Aver scelto di partecipare alla categoria Classic richiede uno sforzo maggiore perché i veicoli devono essere stati prodotti prima del 2000. Quindi la meccanica di questi veicoli impone la revisione molto attenta e una guida particolare. Più bravo è il navigatore, minori saranno le probabilità di errore. La Classic non è una gara di pura velocità, ma di regolarità e velocità – la challenge consiste infatti nel padroneggiare il percorso nei tempi prestabiliti e rispettare i parametri dettati per ogni tappa dall'organizzazione.

I nostri equipaggi affronteranno le 13 tappe previste per la Classic, di cui 2 in tappa Marathon, senza di assistenza del team."

TECNOSPORT RALLY

Tecnosport Rally nasce negli anni 80 dalla passione di specialisti ed amanti delle competizioni in fuoristrada, quando competizioni come la Dakar, o il Rally dei Faraoni occupavano un posto di ampio rispetto nel cuore di tutti i piloti e gli appassionati di sport a due e quattro ruote.

Nel 1992 si stabilì una collaborazione con il marchio Nissan che dura ancora oggi insieme alla casa giapponese vennero realizzati negli anni novanta numerosi progetti di auto delle categorie T1-T2 e T3. Con Tecnosport Rally hanno corso nomi che hanno fatto la storia del Cross Country, dallo stesso attuale patron Maurizio Traglio, a Franco Germanetti, Klaus Seppi, Clay Regazzoni, Kenjiro Shinozuka, Dominique Housieux, Andrej Ivanov, Edi Orioli, Bernard Anquetil solo per citarne alcuni .

Dal 1992 Tecnosport Rally è approvato ufficialmente nel grande mondo dei Rally Raid, proprio nell'anno in cui la Dakar per la prima volta affrontava la grande avventura del Sud Africa: da allora il team di Como ha partecipato e vinto in diverse competizioni di Coppa del Mondo, portando a casa coppe, titoli e grandi soddisfazioni fino al titolo mondiale del 2008.

Ο σύγχρονος άνθρωπος, που έχει εμπλακεί στις παγίδες της ύλης, του εύκολου χρήματος και της συνεχούς αναζήτησης της ευμάρειας, πιάνεται από το χέρι στο χείλος του γκρεμού, ΑΠΟ ΤΟΝ ΚΑΛΛΙΤΕΧΝΗ! Εννοώ τον άνθρωπο- καλλιτέχνη δημιουργό( εικαστικό, γλύπτη, λογοτέχνη ή μουσικό). Ο υποκειμενικός χρόνος άλλοτε αγχωτικός κι άλλοτε με στοιχεία αποκλειστικής επίτευξης στόχων, χάνει την ουσιαστική του αξία. Γιατί? Γιατί δημιουργούνται φαύλοι κύκλοι, χωρίς αληθινές ευκαιρίες έτσι, για καλλιέργεια και ξεδίπλωμα των πνευματικών και ψυχικών δυνατοτήτων μας. Από την προσωπική μου εμπειρία, ως καλλιτεχνική φύση από την πρώιμη μου ηλικία, και ως ζωγράφου για πάνω από 40 χρόνια, πως μόνο ο καλλιτέχνης έχει την ευλογία και δυνατότητα να ολοκληρώνει την θετική εικόνα και εξέλιξη της κοινωνίας, με την δημιουργική του δράση. Ο καλλιτέχνης κρατάει ισορροπίες στο κοινωνικό γίγνεσθαι. Ο καλλιτέχνης αντιστέκεται με το πνεύμα και τα πινέλα του η την πένα του σε σκοτεινά δρώμενα. Ο καλλιτέχνης θυμίζει στην υλιστική εποχή μας, την πραγματική φύση του ανθρώπου. Αυτή που επί αιώνες προσπαθούν να εξαλείψουν. Την πνευματική και ψυχική του φύση που φιλοξενείται στο υλικό του σώμα... και τον ολοκληρώνει. Modern man, caught up in the trappings of materialism, easy money and the constant search for wealth, is caught by the hand at the edge of the cliff, BY THE ARTIST!

I mean the man-artist creator (painter, sculptor, writer or musician). The subjective time, sometimes stressful and sometimes with elements of exclusive achievement of goals, loses its essential value. Why? Because vicious circles are created, without real opportunities like this, for cultivating and unfolding our spiritual and mental potential.

From my personal experience, as anartisticnaturefrommyearlyage, and as a painter for over 40 years, I believe that only the artist has the blessing and ability to complete the positive image and development of society, with his creative action .

The artist maintains balance in social becoming. The artist resists withhisspiritandhisbrushesorhis pen in dark events.

The artist reminds us in our materialistic age, the true nature of man.

The one they have been trying to eliminate for centuries. His spiritual and mental naturethat is housed in his material body... and completes him.

THE ARTIST AS AUTHENTIC CREATOR, PRODUCES PREEXISTING TRUTHS, TARGETS FOR IMPROVEMENT, AND DISTRESSES BEAUTY FROM THE LONG PAST. THE ARTIST AS AUTHENTIC CREATOR PRESERVES LIFE IN ALL ITS LEVELS AND IT PROMOTES HER, NOURISHES HER, UNITES HER WITH HER CREATURES.

Inunperiodomoltocomplesso,unperiodo di passaggio di una possibile cambiamento culturale dove si creeranno nuovi equilibri sociali e culturali e dove si spera, nascerà una nuova coscienza. Noi intellettuali, benché in via di estinzione, ci chiediamo a cosa serva l'arte e cosa potremmo lasciare come eredità alle generazioni future.

Dove l'arte si mescola con una IA sempre più capace di apprendere. Lasua capacità può annullare la materialità, dove il pensiero può diventare sterile perché freddo e calcolatore, dove non esiste l’anima che rende vivi noi artisti/ intellettuali. La differenza è in questo, l’artista vive di passioni, di sentimenti, che lo spingono fino al limite delle sue possibilità.

Questo è quello che chiediamo come prime domande ai nostri primi otto artisti, cosa significa essere artisti e cosa possiamo lasciare ai posteri.

In questi anni di collaborazione con Stella Caviart (rappresentante del magazine Zet per la Grecia) ho scoperto con grandissimo piacere una cultura che viaggia dal passato al contemporaneo, dove sono rimasta incantata da alcuni versi poetici di importanti poeti greci. (visibili nel secondo libro dedicato alla Grecia) Allo stesso modo dalla pittura che si unisce all’insegnamento, alla volontà degli artisti di creare unione anche attraverso eventi di beneficenza.

Mai sottovalutare le origini dell’artista perchémostranociòcherimane nascosto. Il loro simbolo di identità che non si deve perdere. In alcuni artisti di questo terzo capitolo, possiamo imparare come la loro arte viene tramandata dal passato, un passato che non deve essere scordato. Dal passato ci proiettiamo nel futuro.

In a very complex period, a period of passage of a possible cultural change where new social and cultural balances will be created and where, hopefully, a new conscience will be born. We intellectuals, though endangered, ask ourselves what art is for and what we could leave as a legacy to future generations.

Where art mixes with an AI that is increasingly capable of learning. Its ability can nullify materiality, where thought can become sterile because it is cold and calculating, where there is no soul that makes us artists/intellectuals alive. The difference is in this, the artist lives on passions, on feelings, which push him to the limit of his possibilities.

This is what we ask our first eight artists as thefirstquestions,whatit meanstobeartists and what we can leave to posterity.

In these years of collaboration with Stella Caviart (representative of ZET MAG for Greece) I have discovered with great pleasure a culture that travels from the past to the contemporary, where I have been enchanted by some poetic verses of important Greek poets. (visible in the second book dedicated to Greece). In the same way frompainting thatjoinsteaching,tothe will of artists to create union also through charity events.

Never underestimate the origins of the artist because they show what remains hidden. Their identitysymbolthat youshouldn't miss. In some of the artists in this third chapter, we can learn how their art is handed down from the past, a past that must not be forgotten. From the past we project ourselves into the future.

Σε μια πολύ περίπλοκη περίοδο, μια περίοδο διέλευσης μιας πιθανής πολιτισμικής αλλαγής όπου θα δημιουργηθούν νέες κοινωνικές και πολιτισμικές ισορροπίες και όπου, ελπίζουμε, θα γεννηθεί μια νέα συνείδηση, εμείς οι διανοούμενοι, αν και κινδυνεύουμε, αναρωτιόμαστε τι είναι η τέχνη και τι θα μπορούσαμε να αφήσουμε ως κληρονομιά στις επόμενες γενιές. Όπου η τέχνη αναμειγνύεται με μια τεχνητή νοημοσύνη που είναι ολοένα και πιο ικανή να μάθει. Η ικανότητά του μπορεί να ακυρώσει την υλικότητα, όπου η σκέψη μπορεί να γίνει στείρα γιατί είναι ψυχρή και υπολογιστική, όπου δεν υπάρχει ψυχή που να μας κάνει ζωντανούς καλλιτέχνες/διανοούμενους. Η διαφορά είναι σε αυτό, ο καλλιτέχνης ζει με πάθη, με συναισθήματα, που τον ωθούν στο όριο των δυνατοτήτων του.

Αυτό ρωτάμε τους πρώτους οκτώ καλλιτέχνες μας ωςτις πρώτες ερωτήσεις, τι σημαίνει να είσαι καλλιτέχνης και τι μπορούμε να αφήσουμε στους επόμενους.

Αυτά τα χρόνια της συνεργασίας μου με τη Stella Caviart (εκπρόσωπος της ZET MAG για την Ελλάδα), ανακάλυψα με μεγάλη χαρά μια κουλτούρα που ταξιδεύει από το παρελθόν στο σύγχρονο κόσμο, όπου με έχουν μαγέψει κάποιοι ποιητικοί στίχοι σημαντικών Ελλήνων ποιητών. (ορατών και προβαλλόμενων στο δεύτερο βιβλίο/ Τόμο αφιερωμένο στην Ελλάδα). Με τον ίδιο τρόπο από τη ζωγραφική που ενώνει τη διδασκαλία, στη θέληση των καλλιτεχνών να δημιουργήσουν ενωτικό κλίμα ακόμη και μέσω φιλανθρωπικών εκδηλώσεων. Μην υποτιμάτε ποτέ την καταγωγή και τις ρίζες ενός καλλιτέχνη γιατί αυτές δείχνουν ό,τι μένει κρυφό. Το σύμβολο ταυτότητάς τους που δεν πρέπει να χάσετε. Σε μερικούς από τους καλλιτέχνες σε αυτό το τρίτο κεφάλαιο, μπορούμε να μάθουμε πώς η τέχνη τους μεταδίδεται από το παρελθόν, ένα παρελθόν που δεν πρέπει να ξεχαστεί. Από το παρελθόν προβάλλουμε τον εαυτό μας στο μέλλον.

What does it mean today, in a world where we come out of the pandemic, where digital creates works of art, to be artists?

It is really encouraging to know that after covid period, artists and generally painters became more active and productive. Even if we are talking about digital painting, ART is ART! Even if an artist makes art digitally, ART is going ahead. To new views and solutions through new media. No matter of how and which materials or techniques are used for this purpose.

And what is the meaning of art?

From the fact that I am a Greek artist, I have to report that art goes far away, back to the past during which I can’t stay out of telling about THEOFILOS, EL GRECO and so many other unique creators. However, to me, ART means emotions to be expressed out vividlythoughts tobetoldon paper. Becausefor me ART IS LIFE ITSELF. MY EVERYDAY LIFE.

What should we leave to our posterity as an inheritance?

The only inheritance we should leave behind is authentic – original creation of ART.

What is Illustration? In a world where illustration is a symptom of digital?

Illustration is quite important as we became faster, and all are rinning forward in a very shocked rythm. However this must not overcome Original ART creation and activity.

All the faces you represent, which stand as a series of works, what are they really?

I always use faces one or even more , always one as a central dot, as a central thought of mine. Around it most of the time are symbols or other faces in smaller edition. All faces are my inner self. Me, myself, as a whole, trying to express the periods of my life. All the faces are my emotions. My view of life and all the good or bad events that determined my life flow. The faces that represent me, show my inner strength towards obstacles of my life, my routs which are really deep back to the “Lost homeland”, my struggles and my love to my family.

What doesit mean today, in aworld where we come out of the pandemic, where digital creates works of art, to be artists?

Indeed today that we are coming out of the pandemic, digital technology has developed too much and has highlighted artists who marry technology with painting. E.g. today I saw in a gallery abroad a digital painting in print and live- written on it and I really liked it.

And what is the meaning of art?

Ultimately art has no limits and the artist can use everything from soil making clay, until he imagines.

What should we leave to our posterity as an inheritance?

We have the obligation to leave to our posterity as a legacy a world where they can dream and live freely. A world with love and peace.

Beauty and elegance are for me two concepts that should define our lives. Starting from the beauty of the soul, the beauty in the landscape, in our lives, in the way we behave. Some of your works are very detached from the culture of origin, such as Ikebana, purely Japanese, because you have chosen to approach this art form.

In Ikebana every Artist lives the "moment", lives the free creativity, lives the piece of mind and body.

All of those things express myself as a human being.

The uncontrolled, unstoppable evolution of technology creates its own artists. The artist is called upon to become a programmer in order to experiment with new methods. It is a new challenge, which has been strengthened by the period of the pandemic. Technology was a cushion, let alone for artists.Art never stops!She shows her teeth through every medium.

Art for me is my everyday life. What I see around me I turn into the sphere of my imagination and give it life, emotions! Art is the expression of our personality, our imagination but alsothe cultivation of empathy. Einstein once said "imagination is more important than knowledge" and this implies cultivating art.

What should we leave to our posterity as an inheritance?

Optimistic messages must be inherited by our descendants. Our feelings, our love for our fellow man, hope, happiness but also the way you can get them.Whoisthis;Todoinyourlifewhat you love with all your being, to love with true feelings. Only then will you be able to turn something sick into something completely healthy. Art is a means to achieve the above.

Why decide to create illustrations for children.Whatitmeanstoteachthemand how difficult it can be.

The child's soul is the purest thing that exists on our planet. With my illustrations for children, I remain a child. I am transported with them to beautiful imaginary worlds, but I also want to take them to places, places they have not visited. And so I combine the real, so that messages come out as well as the imaginary. Illustration for me is a big journey really. All kinds of emotions come out as I illustrate and in doing so I become a better person.

For me personally it is very easy to teach children anything, it is because I love and respect them, I respect the daily effort of their parents for survival,for progress.Teaching is to succeed, through continuous struggle, in making children understand how beautiful knowledge is, how to use it every day. But at the same time I teach, it means to convey to the children respect for fellow human beings, for the environment, love for life. This struggle of the teacher towards the children isunstoppable.This thenradiatesthroughout society! So we decide what citizens we want.

I prefer to teach everything through art. It is easier for me and at the same time it is immediately accepted by the children. Children love art, feel freedom, autonomy and gain enormous self-confidence. That's why we write and illustrate children's fairy tales with my students, send them to competitions, win prizes and learn to love the journey of our participation every time. We are all happy! Teaching therefore means to be happy for the journey you make with your students, teaching is a magical journey. What and how to draw, what do childrenappreciatemostandthattype of image, in your opinion, represents there?

Children love anything beautiful but they also want to know the truth. A tender image can hide pain, like the one where the grandmother comforts my hero Ignatius, who lost his grandfather. In painting we let the children express themselves, we are simply guides. We show them techniques they can improve. We do not change their painting. They can draw anything but we have to give them stimuli, subjects to deal with. This is howwemanagetoapproachallsubjects.

The theme in my story Little Ignatius and the Queen of the Earth is about loss. I tried with realistic but also imaginary elements, to render the pain and the stages of mourning through the images.

The kids appreciated this. Through my presentations in schools, the students brokeout,broughtoutthegriefthey were carrying inside and each presentation was something like psychotherapy. The students then wrote and drew about their losses and did incredible work. My pictures have their own unique element, like the ones I painted in my fairy tale Achnoulis and the white castle of the oaks, they are not like others, they are handmade and children love them, because they are real and speak in the language of children.

Why start painting religious works, what prompted you towards it.

What drove me to paint religious subjects was my search for the history of my tribe and its culture, but alsothesearchfor god.Tobeabletopaintreligious subjects I must be in a good psychological state and after prayer.

As per Cv you have had very important teachers, your technique is based on both Macedonian and Cretan schools in portable images,alsoworkingonothertechniques.Can you give us more information, because this process of study of artists with these specializations and known perhaps one or two is really interesting

My teachers are among the most valuable hagiographers in Greece. They graduated from the Athonia school of the Holy Mountain where they were taught the sacred art of Hagiography. My works follow the two main schools, the Macedonian school which mainly deals with wall painting and the Cretan school which mainly deals with the portable image. The main representatives are Manuel Panselinos, but also Michael Astrapas and George Kallergis. The School focuses on mural painting and fresco painting as a means of representation. Its characteristics are the restoration of Hellenistic and ancient Greek techniques. An example is the movement and naturalness of the forms. The colors are closer to the natural palette.

The Cretan School developed in Venetianoccupied Crete in the 15th century, during the Renaissance. Although it developed in Crete, it also influenced other hagiographers, outside of Greece, mainly in Russia. The main representatives of the Cretan school were Andreas Ritzos, Andreas Pavias, Theophanes the Cretan, Michael Damascenes, George Klontzas, Domenikos Theotokopoulos, Emmanuel Lampardos, Emmanuel Tzanes, Theodoros Poulakis from Russia, Andrei Roumlioff, etc.

The encaustic technique is the tempera technique that uses, as a means of dissolution, the melted wax that, with the help of the "burner", the brush, was spread over the wood or the cloth to be painted. In this technique I use a hard hog hair brush. These techniques come from the ancient Greek painting tradition, which continued in the early Christian encaustic icons that are kept today in the monastery of Saint Catherine in Sinai.

I consider digital artwork to be a form of quarantine art and expression aimed at a specific group that keeps up with the evolution of technology. However, it cannot be compared with the rest of the arts and especially for art connoisseurs, it cannot restore the texture, the materials and the technique. As an artist my purpose is andhas been to protect, transmit and support my art.

I find that digital art doesn't affect me.

Art is a way of expression, it is redemption, it is healing, it is imagination. Either you create it, you admire it, or it is in your space. After all, if everything around us had the same color and the same shape, it would be boring.

Mosaic is a very complex ancient art, why choose to devote yourself to this, tell me about your.

I entered the art of mosaic from a young age which I inherited from my family. Growing up and learning it, I was enchanted by the process and its result. Each mosaic has its color, its shape, its character which when you join them create a work of art. Unfortunately, it is a type of art that is lost in time, as there are few known traditional mosaics, perhaps because it requires time and a lot of effort.

How difficult is it to work a mosaic?

Mosaic requires a lot of time,a lot of effort, it needs patience, it needs knowledge of drawing and painting.

In mosaic, you must acquire knowledge of its materials, whether you get them from nature or from commerce. You must know where, when and how these materials will be used so that they bring you the right result in the right place so that it stays forever.

With the classic design, I can express what I want to portray with realism and at the same time play with photo shading. From the tapestry, I really like the symmetry and the strictness of the structure of the design, and the texture as a material gives me the feeling of flow and softness. I also feel that the color and cloth become one.

We find in your works lightness, technique, some seem "almost" printed on fabric, how does the idea of creating a subject and choosing the technique and the support start? And how important is transparency for you?

The idea of creating a topic is born exclusively with the need I have to externalize my feelings, also with the degree of difficulty of the subject from a technical point of view, because I want to render it as best as I can. In the second stage, the matching of the materials comes instinctively, then I imagine the result and end up with what I want. Transparency is very important to me because I want to show what is behind the simple appearance, it is like a veil.

La Scuola del Cuoio di Firenze chiude il 2022 con un Fatturato in crescita oltre ogni aspettativa e decide di condividere questo traguardo importante con i suoi dipendenti erogando a loro l'intero utile dell'esercizio, per una quota tra i 1.000 e 2000 euro a ciascuno.

"La ripartenza deve essere per tutti!", dichiara Barbara Gori Presidente della Scuola del Cuoio.

"Un risultato certamente reso possibile dalla riapertura dei confini e dal ritorno del turismo a Firenze, oltre ad un dollaro forte che ha favorito l'aumento degli acquisti da parte dei nostri fedeli clienti americani", spiega.

"Ma il successo raggiunto lo dobbiamo a tutti coloro che lavorano insieme a noi: hanno mostrato solidarietà verso l'azienda, quando abbiamo dovuto attivare gli ammortizzatori sociali per non licenziare nessuno; non hanno mai perso l'amore per quello che fanno, anche sotto la pandemia; e con entusiasmo hanno partecipato alla ripartenza, rendendosi disponibili ad intensificare il loro impegno lavorativo", sottolinea Gori.

La Scuola del Cuoio è gestita da Laura, Francesca e Barbara Gori - figlie del fondatore Marcello Gori - insieme ai figli Tommaso, Filippo e Beatrice.

Dopo due anni difficili dovuti al Covid, dove l'Azienda aveva registrato un detrimento del -85% sul fatturato, torna oggi ai livelli prepandemia.

Tra le iniziative delle sorelle Gori, è recente la nascita della Fondazione Marcello Gori che ha visto l'assegnazione di Borse di formazione-lavoro a sei uomini e donne a rischio di emarginazione con l'obiettivo di darelorounfuturonelsettoredellapelletteria artigiana.

LA SCUOLA DEL CUOIO: QUATTRO GENERAZIONI

Scuola del Cuoio nasce dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale dalla stretta collaborazione tra i Frati Francescani del MonasterodiSantaCroceelefamiglieGori eCasini,rinomatiartigianisindaglianni'30. La loro missione era quella di insegnare agli orfani della guerra un mestiere pratico che potesse diventare un vero e proprio lavoro.

I Frati Francescani misero a disposizione della famiglia Gori e degli studenti artigiani il vecchio dormitorio posizionando tavoli da lavoro lungo il corridoio. Quest'ala del Monastero fu donata ai Frati Francescani, durante il Rinascimento, dalla famiglia Medici che commissionò la costruzione all'architetto Michelozzo. Il corridoio principale, con il suo soffitto a volta e gli stemmi della famiglia Medici posizionati sulle varie porte, è decorato da affreschi eseguiti dalla scuola del Ghirlandaio.

Tra i primi studenti della Scuola del Cuoio, c'erano ragazzi della "Città dei ragazzi" di Pisa rimasti orfani dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Aglistudentivenivanoinsegnate:ledifferenzetra i vari tipi di pellame, le tecniche per tagliare la pelle a mano e come realizzare articoli in pelle, dai piccoli prodotti alle grandiborse. Agli studenti più talentuosi veniva insegnata l'arte della doratura, realizzata soprattutto su oggetti come scrittoi e portagioie con foglia d'oro 22 carati. Alla fine del 1950, in accordo con il Ministero della Giustizia, Scuola del Cuoio iniziò ad offrire corsi ai detenuti della prigione delle Murate. Per questa ragione Gori venne premiato con una medaglia dal Governo Italiano.

Con l'alluvione del1966, ScuoladelCuoio,come l'intera Basilica di Santa Croce, fu completamente sopraffatta dall'acqua e dal fango provocando enormi danni. L'accaduto paralizzò l'attività per quasi un anno. Tuttavia, grazie all'entusiasmo e all'impegno della famiglia e dello staff, Scuola del Cuoio fu riportataalsuosplendore.Nel1968,ilpresidente Saragat nominò Marcello Gori "Cavaliere del Lavoro" ed è così che venne premiato il suo impegno nel coniugare un'attività di eccellenza con progetti socialmente utili.

Abiti storici di GIULIACARLA CECCHI patrimonio della Galleria del Costume di Palazzo Pitti Festeggiati i novant’anni della maison fiorentina con un evento nel Salone dei Cinquecento. Sul palco i 10 finalisti e in passerella i 55 modelli della collezione storica del museo della sartoria

La maison di Giuliacarla Cecchi festeggia i novent’anni d’attività, durante i quali l’atelier di moda fiorentino, ha percorso tutta la storia della moda italiana del ‘900, dalla sartoria su misura, all’alta moda originale e artigianale, con “collezioni d’autore” esclusive e uniche, sempre presentate e distribuite da Firenze. Sue sono le creazioni di abiti costruiti usando solamente dei nastri, e le lavorazioni goffrate che le hanno consentito di essere esposta nei musei.

In occasione di questo anniversario, torna anche il Premio Giuliacarla Cecchi, dedicato ai giovani stilisti delle scuole di moda di tutto il mondo. Per questa edizione, la VIII, molte sono state le proposte arrivate sul tavolo di Pola Cecchi, che sulle orme della madre Giuliacarla, porta avanti l’atelier fondato nel 1932.

La conclusione del premio è stata celebrata con un evento nel Salone dei Cinquecento, dove ieri sera si è svolta la sfilata con i dieci finalisti del concorso. Al pubblico sono stati presentati alcuni modelli degli stilisti premiati negli anni precedenti e facenti parte del “Sistema copernicano” associazione no-profit creata da Pola per mettere in contatto i giovani artisti con le aziende di produzione.

La giuria era composta da Caterina Chiarelli, Loredana Ficicchia, Tiziana Trillo, Thes Tziveli, Maurizio Mancianti, presieduta da Pola Cecchi. I candidati in gara hanno realizzato progetti inediti ispirati a “ricerca, elaborazione e trasformazione di un tessuto nobile o tecnologico o ecosostenibile in una creazione di alta moda”. Gran finale di serata con la sfilata di 55 modelli della collezione storica firmata Giuliacarla Cecchi del museo della Maison.

Il Concorso, aperto a tutti i creativi specializzati nel settore MODA-DONNA in età compresa tra i 18 ed i 28 anni, è gratuito. I candidati in gara hanno realizzato progetti inediti ispirati a “ricerca, elaborazione e trasformazione di un tessuto nobile o tecnologico o ecosostenibile in una creazione di alta moda”. I concorrenti finalisti accompagnati dai lorodocentisarannoospitidellamaisonper2giorni, inoltre i primi tre classificati si aggiudicheranno premi rispettivamente di 1.500, 1.000, e 500 euro.

La Maison GIULIACARLA CECCHI, atelier di moda fiorentino, nasce nel 1932 dalla volontà della fondatrice Giuliacarla Cecchi (1913-2005), e percorre tutta la storia della moda italiana del ‘900; dalla sartoria su misura, all’alta moda originale e artigianale diffusa nel mondo, alle “collezioni d’autore” esclusive e uniche, sempre presentate e distribuite da Firenze. Sue sono le creazioni di abiti costruiti usando solamente dei nastri, e le lavorazioni goffrate che le hanno consentito di essereesposta neimusei. Assistere ad una sfilata della stilista Grazia Urbano è veder sfilare capolavori di alta sartoria.

Sonoabiti-tulipano,gonne-bocciolodallalinea a calla, giacche a baschina tagliate a petali. Gonne lunghe danzanti come fiori mossi dal vento, in colori rubati alla natura: azzurro fiordaliso, rosa ortensia, rosso papavero, verde prato, fucsia, ciclamino, giallo girasole, con una serie in bianco e nero. Gli abiti per il giorno e per il cocktail hanno gonne a campana, anni '50, e vita sottolineata da strette cinture o fusciacche. I ricami di micro paillettes, fili di seta o perline, compongono foglie verdi e boccioli di rose rosa sull'abito da sposa. L'abito-simbolo ha il corpetto e la gonna lunga ricamata con fiori di campo in filo di seta.

Passione e genialità, un mix che diventa professione, stilista di fama protagonista delle passerelle più prestigiose..

La mia passione per la moda mi è stata trasmessa da mia madre, lei era una sarta, infatti ero sempre circondata da tessuti e abiti che mamma realizzava. Immaginate che il mio gioco preferito da piccolissima era quello di realizzare abiti da sera usando lenzuola e le classiche mollette per stendere la biancheria ,facendo drappeggi e strascichi, con l'aiuto di mia sorella più piccola che mi faceva da modella. In seguito cominciai a fare i mini abiti per le bambole, crescendo iniziavo a personalizzare il mio modo di vestire , ricercando il mio stile .

Un successo dopo l'altro..

Penso non ci sia un vero e proprio segreto per il successo. Io mi sono inventata una ricetta, dove ho concentrato molti ingredienti decisi. Il primo ingrediente che metterei in assoluto è la motivazione, che ogni mattina fa attivare tutti gli altri ingredienti, come la forza di volontà, la passione , la perseveranza, il credere in sé stessi e nei propri progetti e aggiungerei un pizzico di sogno , sognare aiuta sempre a vivere con la speranza che tutto un giorno possa succedere.

uo mood, i tuoi tessuti, quali sono le caratteristiche che rispecchiano la tua linea?

Per il grande rispetto che ho per la natura, prediligo sempre tessuti naturali ed economici, come il la seta pura, ecc. Ho sperimentato l'abbinamento con la seta pura che è un tessuto facendo un abito e con pezzi da riciclo , come la rete da pesca ho ricavato un coprispalle riginale.

Ogni stilista si ispira ad un personaggio famoso, il tuo qual'è?

Se dovessi scegliere un personaggio famoso da poter vestire, sceglierei un personaggio del passato, la grandissima Frida Kahlo, icona di indipendenza, donna sperimentatrice e rivoluzionaria. Oltre ad essere stata una grande artista, Frida Kahlo era una donna che andava contro gli stereotipi ed è stata un riferimento per le donne contro ogni canone di bellezza, ha insegnato l'audacia, l'indipendenza e soprattutto l'amore per l'arte. È assolutamente il genere di donna che vorrei rappresentare con il mio brand.

L’azienda Bottega festeggia i 45 anni dalla fondazione che risale al 1977. Un traguardo importante per quella che è diventata una delle prime 20 cantine private italiane e che esporta i propri prodotti in 150 paesi nel mondo.

Il gruppo Bottegaè al tempostesso una cantina e una distilleria, che dispone di un affiatato team di enologi esperti sia nella vinificazione che nella distillazione. L'azienda ha sede a Bibano di Godega S.U., 50 km. a nord di Venezia. Situata nella zona della Doc Prosecco, si trova al centro di un territorio dove vengono coltivate con successo le uve di Cabernet,Chardonnay,Raboso, Picolit edialtri noti vitigni. Quest’area è la più favorevole in Italia per reperire vinacce di qualità.

La Distilleria Bottega nasce nel 1977 ad opera di Aldo Bottega, mastro distillatore con più di trent’anni di esperienza nel settore, e della moglie Rosina Zambon. Aldo aveva ereditato dal padre Domenico e dagli antenati, fittavoli e coltivatori di viti già dal 1600, la passione per il mondo enoico.

Alla fine degli anni ’70 l’azienda è una piccola realtà, che opera nel mercato locale della grappa. Nel 1983 alla morte del fondatore il figlio Sandro, insieme ai fratelli Barbara e Stefano, assume la direzione dell’azienda. Nel giro di pochi anni la Distilleria Bottega esce dall’anonimato, grazie a un innovativo sistema di distillazione che rende la grappa più morbida e delicata.

Nel 1992 nel segno della diversificazione viene prodotto Il Vino dei Poeti, un prosecco spumante, che apre all’azienda anche il mercato dei vini. Nel 1993 entra a far parte dell’azienda anche Monica Lisetto, designer straordinaria che dà ulteriore impulso all’unicità dei prodotti Bottega. Si consolida collaborazione con Stefania Sandrelli e nasce Chianti Acino d’Oro. Nel 1995 il lancio del Fragolino, bevanda di grande tradizione, altera gli equilibri nel settore del beverage.

Negli stessi anni dopo dieci anni di ricerca, l’azienda apre a Pianzano (TV) una nuova distilleria che combina tripla distillazione, sottovuoto e bagnomaria, consentendo la produzione di distillati morbidi e ricchi di aromi.

Nei primi anni 2000 viene lanciato Bottega Gold, il Prosecco Doc caratterizzato dalla bottiglia con livrea dorata, che si rivela un’icona del gusto italiano e un grande successo commerciale. Diversi tentativi di imitazione da parte della concorrenza ha costretto l’azienda ad altrettante azioni legali per proteggere il marchio.

Nel 2004 nasce la grappa spray racchiusa in una piccola bottiglia dotata di vaporizzatore. Il 2007 è un anno importante, in quanto viene inaugurata la sede di Bibano. Si tratta di una grande casa colonica ottocentesca, denominata Villa Rosina, che è stata ristrutturata nel pieno rispetto dei più evoluti criteri di tutela ambientale e che è interamente circondata da vigneti. All’interno della proprietà si trovano la distilleria e la cantina destinata alla produzione del Prosecco e degli altri vini spumanti.

BOTTEGA, 1997-2022: 45 ANNI DI STORIA

Nel 2011 si conclude l’accorta ristrutturazione della sede storica di Pianzano, dove viene aperta la nuova Soffieria Alexander. Qui nascono le bottiglie artistiche Alexander nel rispetto della tradizione del vetro soffiato.

Tra il 2009 e il 2011 l’azienda allarga la propria produzione vinicola alla Valpolicella e a Montalcino. Nel 2018 si è concluso l’accorto restauro di una cantina storica a Valgatara, nel cuore della Valpolicella Classica. La struttura, acquistata dall’azienda tre anni prima, si caratterizza per il grande pregio architettonico ed è circondata dai vigneti della denominazione. A Montalcino alla fine del 2019 l’azienda Bottega è entrata in possesso di una cantina all’interno della denominazione. Nella prima a Valgatara (VR) si producono il celebre Amarone e il Ripasso. Nella seconda, a Montalcino (SI), ha origine il Brunello, principe dei vini italiani.

Precedentemente nel 2013 la Distilleria Bottega Srl, si è trasformata in Bottega S.p.A.

Tra le tappe più importanti va infine segnalata la nascita del progetto Prosecco Bar. Lanciato nel 2014, ripropone la filosofia del bacaro veneziano, abbinando i piatti della cucina veneta e italiana ai vini e ai distillati Bottega. Oggi si contano 32 location in tutto il mondo, all’interno di aeroporti, stazioni, navi da crociera e hotel.

A Borgo San Luigi un incontro......Gabriele Esposito, un giovane chef che propone versatilità, e fantasia, che non si concretizza solo nel rispettare richieste o esigenze particolari, quanto nel coniugare differenti tipologie di cucina: nel caso di Esposito quella toscana, d'adozione, e quella campana, d'origine. «In cucina io lavoro i prodotti del territorio, la Toscana, ma non dimentico la mia terra d'origine, il Lazio, cerco sempre di portare nel mio menu qualche prodotto o piatto del Sud Italia. Ciò che immancabilmente non dimentico sono le tradizioni e i gusti autentici, sia di una che dell'altra regione».

Uno chef moderno che va alle origini del cibo, come i nostri anziani che dicono....ai miei tempi......«Il mio motto», racconta, «è l’autentica essenza dell’invisibile. Odio quello che è lo spettacolo, vado all’essenza del prodotto per catturarne l’anima. Il cibo diventa arte quando dà le stesse emozioni che può darti un dipinto, una scultura… Un assaggio deve provocare un’emozione unica, una sorta di sindrome di Stendhal».

Svelare la trama non rovina

A Borgo San Luigi l’incanto della natura e la cucina gourmet di Gabriele

Un lavoro minuzioso e preciso, quello di Esposito che punta quindi a restituire al palato ciò che l’uomo sta completamente dimenticando e perdendo: il sapore delle origini, in sintesi, una cucina di ingredienti naturali, con tecniche che esaltano la materia prima senza snaturarla.

Esposito continua «Sono sempre in balia degli eventi atmosferici, e devo sempre attenermi alla stagionalità, a quello che la natura mi dà. Certo, l’unico mezzo che ha l’uomo per evolversi è la tecnica. Più cultura hai nella tecnica e più sei in grado di gestire le limitazioni». Un Peter Pan della materia prima, quindi, che lui cerca instancabilmente sull’Isola che non c’è.

Lo chef valorizza i richiami alla migliore tradizione toscana con il suo estro cosmopolita e con qualche caposaldo della sua Campania. I sapori di mare e terra sono esaltati da accostamenti intriganti, parola d’ordine: aromi. Spezie, frutti, erbe, ingredienti dalla componente olfattiva sfacciata. Ogni piatto ha un elemento aromatico apparentemente fuori posto che invece fa quadrare il tutto, rendendo l’insieme completo ma non scontato.

Una cucina la sua, basata sull’estro di questo giovane chef, già famoso, che merita grande attenzione, scavando nella memoria e tirandone fuori rivisitazioni ragionate, mai estreme, dove il richiamo alla tradizione casalinga si fa meno presente per lasciare spazio alla sua creatività esplosiva, il suo sapere modulare l’arte sul filo sottile tra passato e futuro, tra tradizione e innovazione, tralavogliadiandarearitrovareantichisapori e il modo di prepararli con la cura di non snaturarli nel riproporli. La sua è una rivisitazione da grande chef, gentile, ragionata, creativa ma mai troppo estrema.

Basta lasciarsi andare al gusto e ci si ritrova altrove perché, come ci dice Proust, “il vero viaggio non consiste nel cercare nuove terre, ma nell’avere nuovi occhi”

Marèe a Firenze dove il cibo diventa arte per gli occhi

Ci sediamo ad una tavola imbandita di colori e di forme, in cui i commensali, spettatori d’eccezione, sono deliziati da prelibatezze visive, che traducono il pensiero estetico di nomi illustri dell’arte contemporanea in ricette e piatti da mangiare. Usa la preposizione " per" Filippo e non " della". Vi corre una differenza abissale che fa già del titolo, una dichiarazione di intenti.

" Per" è la preposizione dell'attraversamento, del " dono" del " servizio". Quindi già dalla copertina si evince il leitmotiv di tutto lo scritto. Che parte da un uomo e, come sasso gettato nello stagno, diviene di tutti.

Uno scritto a quattro mani in cui la linea di demarcazione fra intervistato ed intervistatore , addentrandosi nella lettura, diviene flebile, per giungere ad essere inesistente perché i due si fondono, si compenetrano.

È un libro " leggero" , 112 pagine, ma ha tutto il peso di un mondo, il peso dell' anima. Paliotti vi ha immesso la sua grazia nell'incedere senza mai prevaricare la narrazione di Filippo, anzi , rendendola immediata, senza soluzione di continuità, un respiro che passa fluente dall'uno all'altro.

La nostra Storia e il nostro retaggio descritti senza il Pre-giudiziodiunanarrazionestereotipatachedeve necessariamentevedere la taradelmalaffareinogni tramonto spettacolare.

Esiste la ndrangheta , è pregnante nella storia personale di Filippo e della sua famiglia. Ma resta in piccolo, relegata nell'antro oscuro da cui proviene, da quel torbido in cui i profumi della cucina e delle azioni di Filippo l' hanno confinata.

L’olio di oliva è conosciuto fin dall’antichità per le sue proprietà benefiche sulla pelle e sui capelli. I fenici lo battezzarono “oro liquido”, gli egizi lo usavano per ammorbidire la pelle e per rendere lucidi i capelli, nella Grecia antica gli atleti lo adoperavano per massaggi e frizioni.

E’ uno dei più ricchi di acido oleico (circa il 62%), il più abbondante tra gli acidi grassi monoinsaturi a lunga catena presenti nel nostro corpo, con grandiproprietànutrientiedemollientiperlapelle. Oltre all’acido oleico, l’olio d’oliva contiene circa il 15% di acido linoleico, il 15% di acido palmitico e il 2% di acido stearico. Per tutelare la salute mentale è necessario dedicare una certa quantità di tempo all'esercizio fisico.

Lo raccomanda l'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità, perché, come viene sottolineato da più fonti, non c'è salute senza salute mentale. L'Oms stima che servono tra i 150 e i 300 minuti alla settimana di esercizio fisico moderato, oppure tra i 75 e i 150 minuti di esercizio fisico intenso. La non dieta, imparare a volersi bene, muoversi e camminare

Il cosiddetto «Back to work», rappresenta per molti un vero e proprio momento di passaggio caricodibuonipropositieobiettivi,comeaccade per l'inizio di un nuovo ciclo. Ma alla fine, a farla da padrone è sempre la volontà di una nuova routine più salutare in grado di conciliare lavoro e vita quotidiana, anche solo per arrivare con una dose in più di energia alle feste di Natale, che in fondo sono dietro l'angolo. Un obiettivo raggiungibile, soprattutto con il giusto aiuto, per riuscire a pianificare un nuovo modo di alimentarsi settimanale e equilibrato, che preveda pasti sempre vari. Spesso infatti è la frenesia della quotidianità a fagocitare i nostri buoni propositi: difficile trovare tra mille impegni il tempo per studiare un menu adatto a tutta la famiglia, fare la spesa, prepararsi da mangiare.

1° consiglio la NON DIETA, mangiare bene e non ingrassare, ovvero la cultura dell’alimentazione, 2° consiglio imparare a volersi bene, 3° consiglio…muoversi...sono 3 concetti molto semplici!

1) LaNonDieta:La Naturopatia ha come scopo principale quello di prendersi cura della “salute” e non della “malattia”. 2) Imparare a volersi bene...non come atto egoistico ma realistico. Quello sul quale il naturopata lavora principalmente è il concetto della prevenzione. Aumentare o migliorare il principio dell’autoguarigione per affrontare al meglio anche una possibile malattia. Partiamo da un concetto fondamentale: ognuno deve essere il terapeuta di sé stesso e avere la consapevolezza del proprio stato di salute. Il naturopata si occupa proprio di questo. 3) Muoversi e camminare. E se come diceva Esiodo il sudore è la misura con cui valutare la sofferenza necessaria per acquisire l’eccellenza degli dèi con l'allenamento possiamo scoprire i nostri limiti e superarli. Dopo tutto, corpo e mente sono inscindibili e una trasformazione fisica è sempre indissolubilmente legata a una trasformazione mentale. E il movimento è forse meglio della compilazione di un diario della gratitudine in termini di benessere.

Consigli di Luca Cucchi. Camminare a piedi è una delle attività più banali e fondamentale della nostra vita quotidiana. Non importa andare in palestra, oltre a essere semplice da fare è estremamente importante e unica per la salute della schiena e perdere qualchechilo. Un programmadicamminate è obbligatorio nella cura per la riduzione del dolore!

Leggendo queste righe, potresti rimanere confuso/a, soprattutto se avete sperimentato che camminare vi aumenta il dolore. È probabile che abbiate ricevuto consigli sbagliati, vi hanno detto che camminare lentamente e tranquillamente avrebbe ridotto il dolore, ma così facendo non avete avuto nessun sollievo.

Questo solitamente avviene perché camminare troppo lentamente in realtà carica staticamente la colonna vertebrale aggiungendo ancora più compressione alle vertebre. Inoltre, una cattiva postura durante la camminata non fa altro che peggiorare il dolore.

Il piano corretto del posturologo è quello di correggere la postura durante la camminata, aumentare la velocità così da creare un programma salutare per ridurre il dolore di schiena!

Al contrario della camminata lenta da “shopping”, passeggiare velocemente cambia questa attività da aggravante a fattore di sollievo.

Un altro aspetto negativo della camminata lenta è la tendenza a non oscillare le braccia e a non ammortizzare con le ginocchia. Questo aggiunge sollecitazioni alla schiena.

Come camminare con uno stile senza dolore Assumete una postura corretta, state dritti e non curvi in avanti prima di partire.

Irrigidite gli addominali.

Iniziate a camminare oscillando le braccia (dalle spalle e non dai gomiti)

Passi sempre più lunghi e veloci.......via, una bella camminata vi aspetta!

Sebbene non si possa tornare indietro riavvolgendo la lancetta del tempo, quello che si può - e si deve fare è sempre cercare di migliorare le proprie abitudini, senza considerare l'età come un limite. Questa è una delle mie raccomandazioni, Pilates, aerobica e principalmente camminare.... sono senza dubbio le migliori attività da fare a qualsiasi età.

Architects is pleased to celebrate the design and construction of the new Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion. The project is the first substantial addition of the Aquarium since 2007. The new constructions includes 50,000 SFT of immersive living exhibits, backof-house elements, theatrical spaces, and views of the surrounding natural landscape and the urban waterfront.

“The project has been guided by a desire to design a ‘waterfront for all’ serving the Seattle community. This design has been developed around ideas of creating a network of accessible, inclusive connections linking the city, the waterfront, and the ocean, integrated with interior and exterior experiences of the Ocean Pavilion.”

The project integrates the public realm and Aquarium exhibit experiences in an extroverted gesture to public engagement. A series of public pathways provide vertical connections between multiple levels of publicplazas,woventogetherbyinterpretive NW native gardens and public gathering spaces. The plazas will be part of a network ofnewopenspacesalongthewaterfrontand adjacenttothe newOverlookWalkdesigned by the City of Seattle Office of the Waterfront, James Corner Field Operations, Miller Hull, and Jacobs.

The building is organized with an urban edge, highlighting the back-of-house support systems for the Ocean Pavilion. It relates these technical operations to the surrounding neighborhood’s light industrial and commercial activities. The Pavilion’s west side gestures to the waterfront, with sweeping geometries and a series of views providing a connection to the Salish Sea and beyond. Strategically placed glazingprovidesequitableopportunitiesforthe public to see into the Pavilion’s interior and engage with the activities inside of the Aquarium, including an iconic Oculus, offering public views into the main reef ecosystem exhibit.

The Ocean Pavilion is an armature for immersive living exhibits, ecological experiences, exposed back-of-house elements, theatrical spaces, and hands-on exploration.Itincludeswell-placedviewsofthe surrounding landscape and urban waterfront, which connect local stories to the interpretive experiences. Within this context, the design moves away from the traditional “theater of ecosystems” model of aquarium design and acknowledges the rich interplay between human life and ocean life while offering a working model of a thriving human culture that fosters a prosperous marine environment and ocean ethic. The central exhibit in the Pavilion will be a 325,000-gallon reef ecosystem that underscores the importance of predators in a ealthy marine ecosystem and features more than 120 species of fish and invertebrates. Circulation pathways winding through the Pavilion’s levels offer a variety of above- and water views of exhibits, as well as views to the Aquarium Plaza and waterfront. To visibly honor and acknowledge the Aquarium’s location on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish peoples, the project team worked closely with local tribes and Indigenous communities to inform and shape the programming, design, and cultural framework forthebuilding,landscape,exhibits,andpublic art. Engagement included hearing traditional stories from tribal elders, workshops with tribal youth, and regular design sessions with Indigenous consultants.

Sustainability is one of the core institutional values of the Seattle Aquarium.TheOcean Pavilion will amplify the Seattle Aquarium’s mission through sustainable solutions that focus on key principles like the health of local and IndoPacific ecosystems, climate change, ocean acidification, and resiliency, all of whichareprioritizedthroughanequityand social justice lens. These strategies include the use of non-toxic, ecologically restorative materials, electrification, and the elimination of fossil fuels, embodied carbon reduction, and heat sharing between the life support and building systems.

“The project team was deliberate in material choices for construction of the building by minimizing plastics, vinyls, biocides, and red-list materials throughout. We analyzed embedded carbon in the project, making material choices that minimize their carbon footprint,” said Osama Quotah, Partner, LMN Architects, “Overall, the project is targeting net-zero carbon and net-zero energy, and the project team continues to study aggressive targets and strategies around energy and carbon that can be implemented at the larger campus scale.”

Project construction includes the sequencing and detailed coordination of three project construction schedules. This work includes the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion, the City’s Overlook Walk project, and the City’s Main Corridor project. The construction of Ocean Pavilion is underway and is expected to conclude in 2024. Construction milestones that will be achieved this year are completion of the shell, core and roof, main exhibit form, habitat structures, and installation of the habitat acrylic windows and animal life support systems.

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 08, 2022 A towering 8 feet 3 inches tall, world’s tallest man Sultan Kösen celebrated a milestone his 40th birthday at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Orlando, visiting all the way from Turkey.

At Ripley’s, Sultan stopped to pose next to the tallest man to have ever lived, Robert Wadlow, of Alton, Illinois. When last measured in 1940 at age 22, right before his death, Wadlow was 8 feet 11.1 inches.

Believe It or Not!, there are only ten reliable cases in history of a person reaching 8 feet or more. In 2009, Sultan Kösen became the first man over 8 feet to be measured by Guinness World Records in more than 20 years.

“After that day [that I was announced the tallest man in the world] I was born,” Sultan explained to Ripley’s. “Before that, I was a very silent person. Now, I can talk. I’m happy. I’m funny. I enjoy my life.”

Gaining international recognition for his lofty stature, Sultan has visited 127 countries. Celebrating another year, he blew out his birthday candles at the Orlando attraction wishing to “travel the remaining countries which I have not visited so far... and to keep my record title. I hope there will be no one taller than me,” he joked.

Born on December 10, 1982, Sultan didn’t start his incredible growth spurt until he was 10 years old. His unique stature is caused by a condition known as “pituitary gigantism,” which is the result of an over-production of growth hormone. In Sultan’s case, his pituitary gland was damaged by a tumor, releasing an excess of the hormone.

Sultan also holds the record for largest hands on a living person, each one measuring 11.22 inches from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger.

Iwasthirteenyearsold,andhadjustreturned to Munich where I was born. But a carpet bombing, only two weeks after I was born, caused my mother to flee into the remotest part of the Bavarian mountains. She had found me in my cradle with a layer, about a foot thick, of glass shards, bricks and debris on top of me. But I was completely unhurt. I grew up with my brothers near a mountain village, not knowing of the outside world. We had no running water, electricity only sporadically, and only an outhouse for a toilet. We did not have enough to eat, we were always hungry. I did not know of the existence of cinema and telephones. I made my first phone call at the age of seventeen. My mother would read books for us and for all the kids from neighboring farms where there were no books.

I was thirteen, now in the big city of Munich, still partially in ruins. I walked past a bookstore. I walked past, but something made me stop. I remember the moment vividly. There was something in the display window of the store that I had spotted out of the corner of my eye. It was like lightning. I walked back, and saw a book on display that had a horse on its cover. It was a painting of ahorseinblackandochre,galloping,asIhad neverseen apaintingbefore.Itwas notreally a painting of a horse, it was like the soul, the essence, the manifestation of the spirit of a horse. And to my deep astonishment I saw a caption that this was a painting from a paleolithic cave in France created some 15,000 years back in time. It was from the cave of Lascaux. This was, in a way, my epiphany. I needed this book, but it was expensive, way over my allowance of 25 cents my mother gave me each week. I kept my discovery a secret, but that very day I started to earn money, furiously, silently, as a ball boy on a tennis court.

Everysooften,Iwouldsneakbythebookstoretosee if the book was still there. I had a deep, gnawing fear inside that somebody else would buy the book, and it would be gone. I did not sleep well at night. After two months I had the money together, and the book was still there. I bought it, and the shiver that went through me when I opened it, I still feel to this day. It was like the awakening of my soul.

Decades later, the Chauvet Cave was discovered, with pristine paintings preserved in it like in a time capsule. The paintings were twice as old as the paintings of Lascaux, dating back over 30,000 years. BecauseoftoomanyvisitorstoLascauxwhoexuded humidity from their bodies, the paintings there had deteriorated. Moldhadstartedto eatthem away, and therefore Lascaux was shut down, and Chauvet was categorically off limits to any intruder, except a handful of scientists. But there was a rumor a film crew would be allowed in for a very short period of time, and under the severest of restrictions. I immediately competed.

The French - when it comes to their patrimony - are extremelyterritorial.OnlyFrenchscientistsworkedin the cave, and it was quite clear only a French filmmaker would getthe officialassignment.I hustled to get a meeting with the French minister of culture, Frederic Mitterand, a nephew of the former president. He was one of the hurdles to be overcome for the permit to shoot the film, as well as the council of scientists and the local government of the region. He had seen a good number of my films that had deeplyimpressedhim,andhewasapologeticthatas aforeignermychanceswereslim. Yes,hewouldlike to tell me I was competent to make the film, but there were also a number of French… I interrupted him rudely in my growing desperation. I said I had competence for some deeper reasons. What do you mean, Mitterand asked? I told him the story of my epiphany as an adolescent. Before I had finished he leaned with his whole body across his desk and took my hand. “You are the one who will make the film.” I said thank you. And I said the film will have the title CAVE OF FORGOTTEN DREAMS.

NYC spent approximately $9.0 billion on health benefits for municipal employees in 2021 and could be overpaying by $2.0 billion annually on hospital costs because they are being charged approximately 3-4 times more than the Medicare breakevenrateforthesameservices/procedures.

The 32BJ Health Fund conducted a study that showed that from 2016-2019, private hospital systems charged the 32BJ Health Fund 315% more than what they charged Medicare for the same services – a difference of more than $1 billion in additional costs. The report also found that prices charged for the same service vary widely across different New York City hospital systems. For example, an inpatient C-section in New York City, prices varied from $55,077 at Montefiore Medical Center down to $27,716 at Maimonides Hospital to just $17,681 at NYC Health + Hospitals. For an outpatient colonoscopy, prices ranged from $10,368 at New York- Presbyterian down to $4,139 at Mt. Sinai Hospital yet only cost $2,185 at NYC Health + Hospitals.

Out-of-control hospital prices drive down wages and are a significant barrier to accessing affordable healthcare for working people. It also makes it more difficult for businesses to maintain health coverage for their employees.

For the third consecutive year, this exclusive concert experience is shared with MOC’s extensive network of hospitals around the country.
