• Clients is a couple in late 30s. John is a corporate attorney and Kate is Investment banker. • Design a living room in a 2 level apartment with an entrance foyer, gallery, dining room, kitchen, library, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and quarters for live in staff. • Design a functional, inviting, elegant living room that seats 10 people. • Incorporate clients collection of antique furniture and a modern painting. • Concept is inspired by work of John Saladino who is known for mixing of antique historical traditional interiors with modern pieces and technology • Design detail and finishes are inspired by French Rococo (Louis XV) style • The mood of the space is romantic, airy and light.
