Rebirth Of The Abandoned Hangzhou Ironw(HISGC)

Breaking The Wall

Other Works

The spoon-billed sandpiper has been categorized as Critically Endangered (CR) by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), which is second only to Extinct (EX). For spoon-billed sandpipers, the coastal beach of Rudong County serves as an important staging post where they rest and replenish energy.

REEs Street Park is located in the costal area of Toronto, Canada. Long used as a parking lot until 2015, the REEs Street Park has now been redesigned as a multi-functional park to meet the needs of various people in the surrounding area.

At the end of D ec em ber 2015, HISGC stopped production. Now, the mining industry in HISGC region is shrinking, resulting in a large number of unemployed workers, abandoned industrial and mining companies. Also, after the closure of the mine, the local housing estates which center in the mine are becoming lifeless gradually.

India as one of the four ancient civilizations in the world, there are many problems, such as population density, traffic congestion, poor air quality, environmental pollution, and the great difference between rich and poor. So from a landscape perspective, we redefine the New Delhi.

SCENARIO

T

he landscape bridge is the apex of the entire site, where tourists can observe the habits of spoon-billed sandpipers at close range without disturbing them.

A

part from running or doing other activities on the site, tourists can also enjoy the surrounding wetlands views, or rest and picnic on the grass beside the bicycle track, getting close to nature to their hearts’ content and admiring the wetland landscape.

T

he farml and l andscap e is located on the rightmost end of the site. The properties of the original land usage are retained while crops with both practical functions and aesthetic values are planted to suit the local conditions.

T

he ditches on the site are designed to store water in the rainy season, which can later be used to sustain the wetland biota in the dry season and thus improves the sustainabilit y of the whole wetland ecosystem.

02.REES STREET PARK

SITE DESCRIPTION This stadium is so good .Hope there would have some outdoor space to Age: 32 hang out too. Work: athletic

The site is adjacent to the viaduct, which is heavily affected by noise. It has no line of sight masking with the surrounding roads.

Now the park is divided into four parts: sports area, outdoor reading area, dining area and gathering area. The sports area mainly serves the elderly and children living nearby. The reading area provides books for all the surrounding people. The dining area not only solves the dining problem of surrounding staff on weekdays, but also serves the dinner needs of surrounding young people. The gathering area can be used for temporary purposes in different seasons, such as screenplay a movie in a summer night or hold some market during spring.

After finishing my homework, I want to go to the park with my friends.

03. REBIRTH OF THE ABANDONED HANGZHOU IRONW (HISGC) Banshan Iron & Steel Base of HISGC covers an area of about 3.07 square kilometers. Since the coming of the post-industrial period, an increasingly prominent conflict between the steel industry and the goal of urban development has been created. At the end of December 2015, HISGC stopped production all together, the close of the factory resulting in a large number of unemployed workers, abandoned industrial and mining companies, and residential areas severed by railways and rivers.
