BRINGING HOSPITALITY

ZIEGLER COOPER
Engergy Center 1 - Houston, Texas A Project By Speer Street Capital
ZIEGLER COOPER
After acquiring Energy Center 1, Spear Street Capital wanted to bring a fresh look to the Energy Corridor Class A building. The goal was to create an amenity rich destination. The building lobby, coffee bar, and cafe have rich textures, graphics, and a variety of seating areas. Fresh finishes were selected for the elevator cabs, elevator lobbies, and restrooms. New seating groups with residential inspired furniture and rugs give the lobby a more intimate and welcoming feel.

By removing a dark stone feature wall, ZCA opened the space to a new coffee bar and lounge area, creating more interest and activity on the first-floor level. An adjoining café with bar seating, lounge furniture, and dining tables give tenants and visitors a lively, convenient lunch option. The fitness center and locker rooms are located on the ground floor and take advantage of the high ceilings and views of the landscaped lawn. A small, yet technology rich, conference room was added.
