Z-Grip
Rein choice is based on driver preference, it is governed by hand size/strength, and the horse's way of going.
Z-Grip looks and feels like leather, made from non-stretch synthetic, with sew-in stops to avoid pulling through fingers.
Zilco reins come in a selection of materials to suit different drivers. Some often prefer a wider rein with a more solid feel in the hand, while those with smaller or less strong hands may prefer softer or more pliable materials. Contact with the horse can also play a part - a stronger horse can be uncomfortable to drive with reins that are too soft or narrow. A light mouthed horse may be harder to drive lightly if the reins are too heavy or bulky.
S-Grip S-Grip features a tightly woven weave with rubberised thread for a strong, non-slip feel.
