Experiences: Studying in Algeria Ropafadzo Munikwa

tudying abroad was one of the most beneficial experience in my life, I had the opportunity to study in a foreign nation and take the allure and culture of a new nation. However, the road was not all roses but however the overall experience is invaluable. Studying in Algeria, I had the opportunity to see the other side of the world, and experience a brand-new country with incredible new outlook, customs and culture. The country was completely different cultural wise, landmarks and natural wonders. I had the priceless moment of visiting the Sahara Desert and experience the beauty of the place. I had an opportunity to visit many historical sites in the country.
I had the opportunity to experience a different style of education which has enriched me to be a confident and proud engineer having been trained in Algeria. Immersing myself in the education system of Algeria was a great way to really experience and understand the Marghreb traditions and its Arabic culture. To be honest I was fascinated by the distinct cultural perspectives. Algeria provided me with the ability to study a foreign language (French and Arabic) due to the practice I got just in day to day life. Above one of the biggest benefits was the opportunity to meet new lifelong friends from different backgrounds.
